I'm going to sound like a message board forum party pooper in this thread.

I wouldn't do anything for SB win.

I want the Rams to earn it without giving up anything or doing anything desperate.

I never fully enjoyed the SB vs Patriots because the Rams imo... Did not deserve to be there after the non call pass interference call late in the 4th QTR at New Orleans.

I realize they proved they were the better team in OT, but the game should've never went into overtime and the better team doesn't always win.

There is no changing my mind...

I'd sell my soul to the devil, if I had one. Unfortunately, I sold it to him in 1999.

Outside of watching the games, nothing. We'll win it, or we won't. There's always next year if it's the latter option.

The whole spygate thing was redacted and an apology issued to the Patriots. They did nothing to us.
Yeah, that's why the NFL burned the tapes. It was because nothing happened. The Patriots deserved an apology. So they destroyed the non-evidence. And while we're on this subject, there's a massive difference between watching film and what the Patriots were accused of doing. It was more akin to the Astros' cheating, if you also add in the Astros secretly recording the other team's practice to know what they were planning.

You are not following the premise of my brilliant OP question. Magical thinking, counselor!. Now shut down the Left lobe of your brain for a few moments and excercise the right lobe of creativity! Like...

Hell yeah I'd give up my law license and get a job at Walmart in the ladies section for a Super Bowl win! ~ jrry32

Sure that looks bad.

But the story came from the Boston Herald - and then was later redacted. It came about in tandem with filming the Jets.

In order to believe they actually did this, you have to believe the Patriots or the NFL paid the Boston Herald to redact the story which is tin foil.

For anyone who wants to read what actually happened, this is a good breakdown:

This was so easy to believe for people because we're fanatics and every non Patriots fan was jealous of their success.

No, I'd have to believe that the Boston Herald retracted the story because it couldn't confirm it or its source recanted. That doesn't mean the Patriots were innocent. You still haven't reckoned with all the behavior from the NFL. You don't destroy the evidence in the way they did if it exonerates the Patriots. And then there's the fact that a bunch of the guys on the field that day are saying their experiences corroborate the story.
