I feel like we’re pissed and the Eagles are fragile psychologically.

If we can get a lead early, they’re not exactly a confident bunch either… I think we hold it this time.
Here's a thought. Case Keenum......yeah, that Case Keenum......went 24 of 34 for 247 yards with 2 TDs and 0 Ints. Swift and Monangai rushed 30 times for 115. The vaunted Bears D, who let up 37 points to Carolina in week 1, allowed the Eagles 1 fucking TD. If we don't better that, we ought to start trading pieces away for draft picks.

Stafford is 0-4 vs Hurts head to head. But why is it because Philly lost last week, they're gonna whip our ass? That doesn't work for the Rams getting robbed by the fucking refs, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? I don't pretend to know what's going to happen but I expect a pissed off team heading to Philly.
The Rams are 0-4.

The question is who’s pissed that matters. Stafford/McVay I’m sure. I’m guessing Kyron Williams/ may be Landman/Lake. But who else is pissed enough to curb stomp the Eagles? We need Nacua/Tae/Higs/Park/Donald/ McDuffie/Watson/Ajax/Avila/ Dotson/Turner/Curl/Fisk/Shula to get fucking pissed.

I hope they fucking annihilate those fuckers. We need a victory, and what better way to get the monkey off our backs and finally beat those bastards into the ground?

Frankly, they're due.

How many straight L's have they taken against that team?

It sure would feel good to get Puka back and see him back into form. That would be a big shot in the arm for Stafford.

Looking for BIG things Sunday from both Nacua and DA.
It's time.

I occasionally get weirdly confident about a given game, for no discernible reason. I know about the recent history vs Phil, about the current injuries, etc. But, I just sense a solid, 31-16 win.

Totally agree - I feel the same way.

I think we're gonna get our asses beat in both trenches. Philly's probably busting their asses in pads this week knowing they're gonna lean on us hard.

:hiding:
I fear you are correct. Something seems .... Off, from an intensity standpoint.

One of Donald's incentives is playing 15 games. Being out this one sure doesn't give him any wiggle room the rest of the way. Not sure how important that is for him. Maybe it isn't. But something to think about.

Last two weeks O: 481 yards, 482 yards. Let's keep that trend going. Of course we all want the W. Beyond that, it would be great to have no turnovers on O and be efficient in the red zone. I'm getting a bit twitchy about our D, which is not necessarily better than the 2025 D at the moment perhaps, except for McDuffie. Eagles injuries, changes, declines all hopefully skew in our favor.

What of Max Klare? It would be nice to see him on the O for at least a few snaps (if Parkinson can't play). Trust is all in Higbee and Allen otherwise, but our TEs are so fragile, snaps for Klare might be required just to get through the game - even in 11 personnel!

Whatever the situation, we can't have the same old song and dance against the Eagles. Mr. Shula, if we get a lead, please don't fall back to soft zone coverage! Attack.

Philly is always tough, haven't seen that from us yet. I think completely healthy we are the better team. It could be a rough first 6 weeks for us if we don't figure out how to win this one.
