The Rams have won a CCG in each decade but the 80's (5).
Pittsburgh has won a CCG in each decade except the 80's and 2020's (4)
Denver has won a CCG in each decade except the 2000's and 2020's (4)
Minnesota hasn't won a CCG since the 70's. (1)
Well they did win the NFCCG against Tampa in 1980

Geno Smith is a league average QB. The last 3 years numbers reflect that Stafford is league average, too.

I don't know that Seattle is significantly worse off at QB than any other NFL West team.
2 minutes left. Need a touchdown. Who you want? Stafford or Geno? Nuff said.

Hell, 2 minutes left, here's the list, take your pick.....who do you want?

Mahomes?
Stafford?
Burrow?
Allen?
Rodgers?
Lamar?
Goff?
Mayfield?
Darnold?
Purdy?
Geno?

Obviously, most fans are going to pick Mahomes, and rightly so. But after that? Who? I don't think I'd want anybody else on that list other than Stafford, though you probably couldn't go wrong with the first 4 or 5. So, I'm biased.

No sub 100 is not elite. But it includes 4 weeks without Kupp last year, 5 weeks without a proper OL this year and more time without both Kupp and Puka ( 4 more weeks?). That's about 8-10 weeks total (since OL and WRs were missing simultaneously), almost a third of the 2 year total.

I used your numbers. You said that he had a 99.2 QB rating last year in the 13 weeks he had Kupp and a fully healthy OL. You said that he had a 97.4 QB rating this year after the OL became fully healthy in weeks 6-17.

So per your statements, he's had a 99.2 and a 97.4 over these last two years when no one was missing. Per your own research, he's still sub-100 with everyone fully healthy.

Stafford, of course! I'd say he's more clutch than several superior QBs. But the game is played in 60 minutes.

The clutch factor alone doesn't establish that there is a significant amount of daylight between him and Geno or Murray.

Deleted my post. Was going to add a Seahawk fan joke to that great list but couldn't think of anything and after leaving the site it auto-posted when I wasn't finished. I just couldn't get off a Seahag fan diss. Badnews is the champ as far as their fans go. In comparison I got nothing.

And I'll take that. Every day and twice on Sunday. The smarter QBs know where to throw it, even if it means an incompletion instead of a pick. And each one of those lowers the rating. He's not ARod, who will take a sack before throwing it away. The higher the rating the better the chances for the MVP.

"Yup I was hoping we would completely annihilate them and send them to the playoffs with a nice solid L but we probably just gave them enough confidence to win the superbowl."
