Rams kicking Saints a$$es should shut them up. Saints kicking Rams a$$es will reinforce their whining. A close game will likely result in the losing side complaining about a couple unfair calls that didn’t go their way. And it will strengthen the Rams-Saints rivalry. I vote for scenario 1 but could live with #3.

Saints are still a damn good team. Wade will need to figure out a way to shut Kamara down in the passing game like he did at points last year. Don't care what whining their fans have to do. They got the home field because we got fucked by the same head ref in the first game against them last year. Karma is a bitch.

They had plenty of chances to win that game after the non call and they failed. Time for them to move on .. and what better chance to move on than getting thrashed by the Rams at the Colosseum!!

I thinks Saints fans have Post Traumatic Playoff-loss Disorder.
Theres a guy in my office from Louisiana whos been low-key upset about the playoff loss all year.

I asked him about the Texans game yesterday, and he said the refs almost screwed them out of that game is looking forward to seeing how they'll get screwed out of a game this week.

I figure the Saints will take Kupp away, or focus him heavily at least, on critical downs. And they'll get some quick pressures vs our interior OL. So Goff might not start the game off well, but what I do like about this game is it's in a place he tends to go the F off in so I expect his final line to be very good.

And tbh just like with the Rams the Saints looked soft vs the run in their opener. So IMO both teams need to play better defensively in this game if they want to come out with the W.

I’m not one to live in the past. So let’s look at the 2019 version of he Saints..

They’re mostly the same from last year, at least the major pieces. Same, very good OLine! If there’s a weakness there it’s in the middle, though. A good week for AD to do his thing. And they’re really good about using Kamara in the passing game and as a check-down option/screen plays when you bring pressure (which Brees is pretty good at diagnosing).

That offense still goes through Kamara and Thomas. I do believe Brees is getting older and it’s catching up to him...but I also think that will show itself as the year goes on. For now, that’s a rested, healthy, talented offense. They don’t have quite the amount of weapons we do, but douchebag-Payton is still a solid offensive mind.

(I’m so glad we don’t have someone like him as our coach!!! He’s a clown.)

Their defense hasn’t looked good in a while. I think if we had Kupp last year, it wouldn’t even have been a game. Our offense is so different with him in there. The one thing they will absolutely try to do is overwhelm Goff. Jordan and Davenport are good and even though they get Onyemata back, they’re gonna miss Rankins still.

We have to protect Goff, not turn the ball over and knock off some of that rust from last week.

Taking Kupp away is easier said than done. I don’t think they’ll be able to. And if they allocate that many resources to our slot WR, there should be opportunities galore for Higs/Everett and our run game.

Saints fans have got to be the most pathetic bunch of losers ever assembled. So many of them dressed like referees on Monday night it looked like a clown convention. Asshole Face is the King of Clowns! A Rams win is Great. Twice as great when it’s at the expense of the Saints and their arrogant Head Coach.

Both teams look pretty even. This is an early game in the season that could have huge playoff ramifications late. Little revenge going both ways. I dont see it getting chippy though.

I don't know..Mike Thomas of the Saints and Marcus Peters might get into it, no matter how much they are instructed not to...

Does he really still believe the officiating favored the Rams in the NFCCG last year? You'd have to be in a cave to not to have been exposed all the noncalls that went on. It's not like one somehow "counts" more.

Actually statistically the ones that happen earlier skew a greater number of future plays, iInm.

I think the Rams win if they are ahead or within a score of the Saints at halftime. If the Saints put the Rams in a hole early like the first meeting last year then the Rams probably lose.

Saints fans hate us for what happened, and I think a lot of Rams fans hate them for how much they've milked it.

Kamara and Thomas might be the best RB and best WR in the league, respectively, and either of them can win entire drives by themselves. Brees looked good on Monday Night, so it will be a better version of the team we faced in the Championship Game, though obviously it comes down to how the teams play in any given game.

Should mention we have the better coaches across the board, and that's an advantage. Payton is a great schemer, but not the leader McVay is. Feel pretty confident saying that. Wade and Fassel are perhaps the bigger difference.

Hard fought, expect it could go either way. Hope for no injuries or suspensions. Whatever happens happens in week 2.
