Rams - Obviously
Bucs - They'll probably feed off the beatdown we gave them and go on a nice run
Cards - We'll see how they fare against us, but right now they look good, Murray is in the MVP race at this point IMO.
Cowboys - They could swap with the Panthers if they don't take care of business
Packers - They'll likely be rising soon, wouldn't be surprised if they swap with the Cardinals at the end of this week.

1) Rams
2) Bucks
3) Packers
4) Cards
5) Whiners

I almost put the Cowboys at 5.
They look pretty good right now.
However. The Whiners have Shanny and are always well coached.

The Chickens didn't make the cut. They have some work to do.

Don't sleep on the Vikings. They would have beat the Cards if it wasn't for that missed FG. They can run and pass at a high level.

Cowboys - Dak is playing great be that defense is SO weak
49ers - Jimmy G is too inconsistent to but top 5 to me.
Panthers - I don't think they played anyone good except for the Saints. Winston relapsed and was throwing up anything in that game.
Saints - Same as 49ers. Winston is too inconsistent.

My top 5
1. Rams
2. Bucs
3. Packers
4. Cowboys
5. Saints
I'm almost identical except I had to go niners instead of saints.
Niners QB situation is not ideal, but I trust it more than the saints.

I'm Shocked at the amount of Cardinal votes. I think they are September sweethearts
and the stumble starts Sunday followed by 9er's and Browns. tough stretch.

The Seahags at 6 -- and may beat whiners this weekend. Huge weekend for NFC West.

How do you feel about the Niners annually highly touted vaunted defense though?

I'm not seeing it this year. Still fast but not as aggressive or physical IMO. That's a big reason why i left them (and Seattle) out of my top 5.

The 49ers are dealing with a lot of injuries in the secondary. A lot of their fans want them to resign Sherman. I think their defense is like the Bucs, if the pass rush is neutralized they can be exposed.

I haven't looked at any numbers, but i'm primarily talking about up front vs the run and as you mentioned the pass rush. Also tacking. They don't look the same to me. They're healthy relative to a year ago.

I agree with your post. I quoted you to add to your point.

We lead the league in turnovers, which is probably the most important defensive stat. We are also missing several key players. Our defense isnt weak.
