Jourdan and Rich Hammond both think that Edge Rusher is the Rams #1 priority and will have the biggest and most positive impact for the Rams.

I think it makes sense, but minus Akers RB seems pretty important.

i don't think we can fill all the holes before trade deadline. so i am hoping we can install some nasty in the player we have. if we could do that and get a reliable rb that would be accomplishment enough for me.

Trade for Brian Burns & D'Ernest Johnson.

Skura at LG until Shelton returns.

Ben Cleveland isn't an upgrade to Edwards, they are both frustratingly inconsistent. If he was outright released then he might be worth a flyer.

It's going to be an edge. Burns, Chubb, and Josh Allen are the ones I hear and think are most likely.

Okay how about Bradley Chubb, and Jerry Jeudy to the Rams. Broncos get Akers, Robinson, second and 3rd round picks in 2023 and first round picks 2024 and 2025.

Now would everyone be happy?

Are we able to trade the 2025 pick.

I thought we can only go two years out during the season.

I could be wrong though.

Good God NO!!!

Four premium picks, including two #1s for what could be a ten-game-rental, and a WR that has thus far been a disappointment. Not to mention the cap ramifications of moving Robinson in the first year of his contract.

AS much as we need an edge rusher, I think a quality running back might benefit us more. A better run game would help keep heat off Stafford. And make the play action pass more effective. We need better than 2 or 3 yards on first down.

If they consistently get 4 or 5 yards on first down whether it be a pass or run, it keeps the defense honest because it opens up the playbook more. And makes converting 3rd downs easier when you're not in 3rd and long.

A good edge rusher is nice but they've been able to limit the scoring even without the benefit of a decent pass rusher besides Donald. They have not been able to run well at all. 31st or 32nd in rushing so far.

Yup. I know Snead has balls of steel when it comes to trades, but that would be too much. We have Robinson locked up for 3 years. Last game it finally looked like he was developing a Rapport with Stafford. If he starts to assert himself and becomes that guy we thought we were getting, that gives us two solid receivers and a good 3rd with Jefferson. All they really need is a better run game and better blocking to get back to being higher scoring offense.

With the Colts struggling, I wonder if they'll make Yannick Ngakoue available. He'd be a rental, but he'd give us a big-time pass rush across from Leonard Floyd.
