How long is boating season in MT?

Due to the fishing boats we sell for work I'm on the water from March to November doing orientations. I pretty much use my V-drive from May to Sept which would be the average boaters season here. My focus then becomes bird hunting and football. I was just on the Missouri in my duck boat the other day, and will hit it for a couple more weeks, the water usually doesn't freeze for a few miles below our dams unless its like -20.
