Lions like him too I bet, so we will see how it plays out.

Damn Lions have The Rams draft pick which sadly is way better than their own.
-price that was paid to win a Superbowl. Which I always like to play (GM) draftnik. The draft(trades) you can go back on.
Anyways- I believe in Les Snead when it comes to finding Special Team Players!! His Track Record is GREAT!!

Just a question to those who have Google working (my computer is switching to Yahoo every time I try to Google something, and it's pissing me off something fierce): did Harrison Mevis, the Mizzou kicker, declare for the draft? He's the guy I'd pick, even over Moody; he has a more powerful leg, and his accuracy is pretty good as well.

We to cheap this season! Lol It was obvious we were going this route.

Fuck colts going all in this year
Yeah, we're cheap. I just didn't want another weak-legged kicker like Aguayo or Blankenship. Moody, as money as he's been on the shorter kicks, struggles some with longer ones, I noticed. That's why I'm interested in Mevis: he does this:

Bullocks! Now don't start mclaughlin at me, but I think there maher be other options becrosby of all the free agent kickers out there.

We might also prater the football gods that we hit gould in the later rounds of the draft.

Again, I like Moody. I just love Mevis more. Mevis has the record for the most made 50+ yard field goals in Mizzou history - and we've had some amazing kickers.

Dudes a beast has many records, including the Michigan record and the senior games he went to

How much are a couple or more victories in close games worth? Or missing the playoffs due to a missed kick?
Missed the playoffs a years ago because GZ missed a chipshot in SEA to win mid season.

I voted after he signed elsewhere. Just wanted to know what it felt like to accurately second guess!

This must be the roll of the dice to draft someone as adequate for 5 million less.

That video above gives me some hope. But not much.

Getting any pro-bowl player for 5 mil a year seems cheap to me. Especially one that is almost automatic if you get to the thirty five.

Maybe there is something going on we do not know. Gay does walk like he has a stiff back all the time.

The success rate for rookie PKs in the NFL isn't great. The Rams don't have the higher pick to spare. That's why I think a vet this year makes sense. They can take a PK in the 6th or 7th and coach him up. NFL game is different than the college kicking game which is why so many fail as rookies. For one the stakes are much higher. Give a late round PK a year to acclimate on the PS while sending him to an outside academy to correct any kicking flaws would IMO give them a better kicker. Thats what these failed rookies do and why so many turn their careers around from the second year on. Very few have had real professional mentorship. NFL teams are notorius for not developing PK and P. Staffs simply don't have kicking coaches. The kickers are sent off by themselves during practices.

Moody probably doesn’t last until our first 5th round comp 167.

Cade York Browns place kicker was pick 124 in the 4th last year.

Punters started going at pick 130 (Jordan Stout BALT) in the 4th. Another went 133 also in the 4th.

If the Rams want the top kickers, they likely need to find a way into the 4th round.

Not sure who our next Kicker or Punter will be, but Rams now also need to add a Long Snapper as Matthew Orzech has moved to Green Bay.
