I learned that many Rams fans have unrealistic expectations for what quality QB play should look like.

CB Troy Hill's name was not called as often on Sunday like in the first game ....maybe its because he lost his spot :notsure: on the Special Teams.

Safety John Johnson III is making twice as many plays as our highest paid DB Joyner is. JJ III has 14 combo's & 1 INT, Reserve Safety Marqui Christian has 8 combo's & Joyner only has 6. JJ III has some serious range & his tacking has improved from last season.

DE Micheal Brockers thus far is outplaying Donald & Suh.MB has more assist's, more tackles, more combo's & more sacks. Can't wait till AD lerns of this.....:fuelfire:

I never thought that the Rams could ever have another WR like Issac Bruce again but if WR Robert Woods keeps :shooting:like he has in the first 2 gms I might have toR think that. I can not say enough about how I feel about the play of Robert Woods....:wow:
So glad I wasn't the only one comparing Woods with Bruce, not the same person obviously. Woods is going to clean house on those intermediate routes and Goff isn't Warner on deep passes, and while McVay definitely isn't Martz he's going to try to keep teams honest with play action.

Have to agree on Johnson and Joyner, Christian and Barron, Blythe and Brown and now Natson is filling in well for Cooper?

The media will never get excited about Brockers, but this is what we were all hoping for.

Gurley with just 46 yds rushing is concerning.

La Coliseum playing surface is atrocious. Nothing more than hard pack dirt. They even spray painted a bunch of it green before the game.

Rams should be concerned about injuries

Not really concerning at all when you watch the run plays Gurley was in on and see how much AZ sold out to stop the run. Which is why Goff had nearly 400 yds passing.

I learned that Austin Blythe is a brute regardless of size, that moving pancake block on Gurley's score as time expired just before half, was a thing of beauty and should be put out there as a "How To." block and control the line of scrimmage. And that is one of the major reasons Blythe will continue to hold down the RG for the rest of the year.

Goff throwing mid range post patterns reminds me a bit of Warner.
I was thinking the same thing. Speaking of Warner (kinda off topic) Cousin' TD throw to Thelen on Sunday reminded me of a Warner throw during the GSOT days. Talk about a tight window. Back to Goff, his throws remind me of, dare I say, a little bit of Brady.
