The first challenge was good as it got the down back and gave us a time out after again running for no gain, even though they wasted it, by pretty much running the same no gain run up the middle right afterwards.

Of course we gave him the opportunity to say that by playing crummy football and letting them beat us in our house......again.

YOU let the Rams beat you? :shocking:

Everyone knows it's Bruce Arians who decides such things. :rolllaugh:

I think we would all be pissed if our QB got hurt and it looked like Arians was calling it a Christmas present. I don't think Fish was talking about the injury - he was talking about the L - and Fish is rights that Arians has talked so much shit that this is well deserved - but I can see why there would be some angst towards Fish in Az.

I hope the implosion in the desert continues and the 9ers hand the Cardinals a loss on Thursday night.

Well, we're not pissed. And Fish didn't say that.

As far as anybody in AZ that has angst... try gold bond medicated powder and STFU.

That's why I'm waiting to hear what Fisher has to say about them. He's pretty good at challenges...that's why I was a bit confused...because if the radio announcers could see the replays...(and they said before the review that the Rams would lose those challenges)...how could Fisher and company not see that?

Watching on TV, both were a blatant waste of a time out...Don't know how the people responsible for that wouldn't have access to something like what we saw on TV...The TV analysts were incredulous about both..

Oh, Brucey and Fish are great friends now with mutual respect for one another. Still, I wonder how it feels to lose to an 8-8 team in your own backyard?
Probably not as Bad as when an "0-2 Team" (Buffalo) "Spanked them!!"

Those were 2 of the worst challenge calls I've ever seen.

I don't think that those were bad challenges.

Yes, after watching the game at home, those challenges made no sense. But at the game, the replays in the stadium showed Quicks challenged catch from the opposite angle streamed out through TV. It was very difficult to see, at normal speed, that the ball hit the ground. It it was only shown once, and it was late in being shown until they went under the hood. The broadcasters are watching the video being sent out to through the TV, not sure if the Rams are privy to that video in the stadium?
Those were terrible challenges...waste of resources....it was so obvious they weren't catches...Like jrry says below:\/

The team has a guy in the video booth who is supposed to tell Fisher whether to challenge or not.
Exactly...and they DO have the same video we see...they have a TV up there with them...

He needs to be fired!
And replaced with...anyone that knows the freaking rules!!!!!

The first challenge was good
It was worse...Unless as you say, they did it as a timeout too, and knew they'd lose. The run after they already ran...was clueless as well...

I was cussing that play that they ran right before the challenge until I realized that they were going to get to re do it because of the challenge, until the stupid call they ran after.:banghead:

Then why not just take a TO and save the challenge. I see no reasonable explanation why either should have been challenged. That's just piss poor game management. The players are out there fighting for the win and getting handicapped with junk like that. C'MON MAN!

That guy is a putrid coach. Those were 2 of the worst challenge calls I've ever seen. Their offensive play calling is as unimaginative as any in the last 10 years. The only reason that team is competitive is their dirty scumbag D-Coordinator who should still be banned from the league.
tavian said Hows Carson?

:rolllaugh:

We need @-X- or @RamzFanz or someone with some vid know-how to make an image of Williams flippin everyone off. I don't give a F what anyone thinks of Greg, I love the dude. Hope he's our DC for a long time.:p

Me either...I was looking at Fisher's face while Az was driving....We had already knocked Carson out the game (big pussy)....and they were moving...but a lot of stuff was going on...bunch of big hits...I was just hoping we wouldn't get any penalties..I think Floyd took himself out the game after getting blocked by Sims on the prior series...so I felt we were in control...and I see Fisher's face...he looked...anxious/nervous/something, and if we allowed that backup QB to score, he woulda been broken..it was strange....Why? Cause it looked like we could have won this game by 2-3 scores...Easy...

I think the challenge guy gets fired after this game...It's obvious the fans know the catch rules better than him...Who hired him is my main concern????

When a couple of ill-advised challenge flags after a gritty, tough divisional road win becomes the focus of conversation i have to take a step back, giggle and shake my head a little.

I remember going 12-4 once and complaining about Martz blowing time outs every week. "Yeah but what if..."
I feel a little silly about it now tbh.
