Don't overthink it, dude. Movies like that aren't made for their dialect.

Schwarzenegger in Commando:
"I eat Green Berets for breakfast. And right now, I’m very hungry."

You: Who eats Green Berets? Let alone for breakfast. Does he also eat Navy Seals? That's dumb.

Except that sounds tough at least. And it relates to the situation. If he had said,” I eat bubble gum and right now I’m hungry”. It would just be a weird line. The bubble gum has no relation to the story or situation.

Wow, you got a bunch!

Warrior (the UFC movie) and JOHN FUTHERMUCKIN' WICK. John Wick could star in an erectile dysfunction commercial and I'd watch it. "They killed my boner, so yeah, I'd say I'm back!"

Bad boys 2, the fugitive, the day after tomorrow, Armageddon, anchorman, napoleon dynamite, zombieland, the waterboy, American pie 1 +2, the wedding singer....

Not necessarily the films I think are the ‘best’, but ones I absolutely love and never tire of watching.

I could make a fair effort at quoting the entire bad boys 2 script. My daddy didn’t leave me no trust fund!

More awesome ones!

I specifically enjoyed and still enjoy the fugitive, the day after tomorrow and the Waterboy "Medooooola Oblong-gah-ta!" "uuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!"

That's kinda what this movie list is.

Like that soccer/WWII movie, Victory with Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine. I probably saw it 30 times over the course of one summer (my first with HBO at my grandparent's house).

Definitely not one of my favorites, but definitely a guilty pleasure.

Caddyshack, all of Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns, and his early Dirty Harry movies. Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation. All of the Monte Python movies. These are just a very few of my favorites. Drives my wife crazy because I can repeat most of these movies verbatim.

Just thought of another one:

Down With Love. Renee Zellweger and Ewan MacGregor are wonderful in this homage to the “Pillow Talk” Hudson/Day screwball RomComs typically based in NYC.

They really muddle the historical timeline but I just figured “early 60s”and rolled with it.

You guys are good!!
Most listed, I really like... but I'm limiting this list to only those that I could watch over and over again or, if it comes on, I stop everything and watch.

In addition to the below, I can only think of two more (apologies if they were listed and I missed them):
Forrest Gump
This one is an outlier:
Life As A House

Probably my all-time favorite... definite stop-down any time it's on:
My Cousin Vinny

Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Airplane!
The Big Lebowski
Christmas vacation
monty python and the holy grail
Shawshank Redemption
Goodfellas

My father made me go with him to see this like 50 times when I was a kid... I can quote lines book & verse.
It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World

Happy Gilmore
The Sound of Music
The African Queen
A Christmas Story.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
A Christmas Carol (1951 w/ Alister Sim)
Its a Wonderful Life
