I thought we'd get back on track because I haven't seen a post on this. Can someone add some content, I'm on the road

Who’s ready for Goff to get back on track?

Jared Goff has been struggling his past 15 or so games. Whose ready for him to light us up and get back his confidence?
--------------
Oh he will
--------------
I'm fully expecting Brandin Cooks to torch us for a couple of long TD's. 8/9 178 yards 2 TD's sounds about right. My Fantasy team needs it
.
--------------
Jared Goff: 34/38, 400+ yards, 4 or more TD's, 0 sacks, 0 int's.
------
You beat Goff by putting pressure on him. He folds like a wet paper bag when you get after him. We don't do that at all, so unless we send the kitchen sink at him we will lose big.
--------------
We're talkin about the Falcons here. They'll probably win 35 -31 and piss off 80% of the message board. Lol
--------------
After playing with Falcons.
All Q.Bs get ELITE status....so will be the case with Goff.
Main thing, we will all witness is how Aaron Donald single handedly will destroy our offensive line....and pan cake Freeman for loss of yards.
--------------
I expect a career day from Goff only for him to go back to normal the very next game.
--------------
The time is right for Goff to build up his confidence.
--------------
We aren't holding him under 300 yards and 2 tds that's for sure.
------
Gurley will probably be magically healed and go for 120 too
--------------
Goff will have a career day against the worst D in the NFC.

LMAO Some of these guys are funny. I know how the feel with a disappointing team this year. At least we still have a damned good shot of getting back into the thick of things!

I'm praying they are right and the offense uses this game to get on track and create some good habits to carry on the next 4 weeks before we meet another real challenge.

Rams 2 CB's gone

Talib is now on IR and Peters just got traded to the Ravens. They look like the MASH unit we were last year.

Not sure if this is good or bad
--------------
they still have Aaron Donald and that front seven
--------------
Have you seen our defense? If they can stop one drive all game, they will win
--------------
Lol the offense isn't the problem. They can score 50 points on Sunday against this Rams defense, the Falcons defense will give up 51.
--------------
I predict we lose 34 - 41
--------------
Wonder how many times a team has had back to back 30 point games without getting a W in either. Wonder if a team has ever had back-back-back 30 point games yet getting 0 wins. Might make history next week, again.
--------------
Goff will get right.
--------------
And with our D, if Falcons offense god forbid gas to punt couple of times will be behind by 14-17 points. Aaron Donald and pass rush will go after a Ryan and it will get ugly real fast.
--------------
If we can't run the ball we are going to lose by 20+ no doubt about it.
--------------
maybe sit ryan this game ?? cardinals were smacking ryan and cardinals d line is awful like seriously awful
--------------
This aged well.
--------------
Um... you were saying?
--------------
Ramsey will show up just in time to intercept Ryan 3 times. The media will start blowing the rams again and act like Sean mcvay invented offense after they beat our atrocious defense like a drum.

or we upset and get a meaningless win and they’ll say mcvay is on the hot seat hahahahaha. Stupid media.
--------------
Of course they would get Ramsey right when we thought we were gonna face a depleted secondary. Falcons aren’t allowed to catch breaks like that
<_<

--------------
I know the Rams are on a three game losing streak, have terrible pass blocking, and are missing their RBs and CBs.

It won't matter. Because we will not be able to pressure Goff, who will just throw quick passes to open guys that don't get tackled. Cooper Kupp is going to have 150+ yards and 2 TDs.

On the other side, Donald and crew are going to feast on Matt Ryan. We will not be able to string together 12 play drives due to holding penalties and sacks. We will have at least one strip sack fumble and a pressure-related INT. So we will simply not be able to keep up in this one.

Rams 38, Falcons 24.

Buccs fans said the same type of stuff. This time I hope they are actually right.

Yeah the rams also thought this about tampa

I noticed this thread in their Around the NFL section. They're debating whether or not all the Rams moves the past few years are gonna come back to bite them. They're pretty critical of Goff. I wish I could say they're totally wrong but so far he's not the same QB he was the first half of last season.

After that game I take nothing for granted. The next two games pretty much confirmed it. Matt Ryan can light up a defense. I don't care how bad their defense is, if he puts up a 40 burger on us we're not winning. This offense is not the same offense that outscored KC and their bad defense last year.

Not sure why they’re so unconfident. The Rams haven’t played well at all and their offense at home is really good.

I honestly think Goff just needs an easy game to get his swagger back. Just a simple defense to face who doesn’t put a ton of pressure on him and he can sit back and hit the open guy. It would go a long way if he has a vintage game on Sunday.

I'm not in a place where I can take any team lightly so I just hope we come out of it with a win.

Re: Falcons fans I have always liked that fan base. They seem well grounded to me too. This is a "get right" matchup for both squads tbh.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Falcons have alot of talent especially on offense. Theyre gonna score alot. Not sure if we can keep up ala the Bucs game. I can see Atlanta winning this one at home 38-31. We have too many key injuries on defense and the Oline is not right yet.

This is my thought as well. The Falcons can score. Honestly I just want to see a win. Don’t care how they do it.

I take issue with those takes.

Goff started to regress during the Lions game. What happened? The Lions came with the double A gap pressure and completely unlocked our OL scheme.

Newsflash for the confused: Exactly ZERO QBs not named Wilson, Mahomes or maybe Watson are going to be relatively unaffected by A gap pressure and EXACTLY ZERO including Wilson, Mahomes and Watson would succeed with the level of breakdowns coming from every direction. 4 of the 5 OL are basically the 2nd worst in the league at their position. Whit is in the middle.

Goff is a pocket QB. We've been saying since Marino was throwing it all over the place that you have to get a pocket QB off his spot. Nothing's changed.

If one realizes truly how bad the OL has been, Goff's play has been good under the circumstances (yes, even missing the deep passes which is a function of expecting to constantly be hit by an angry bus).

Goff is more than fine and the minute he gets a chance to settle in and play football, he'll be elite like we know he can be and is.

This is a wake up call for the organization... they have to increase the profile of the OL in their draft and development and you can bet that's happening.

Falcon's super bowl "hangover" appears to have become pneumonia.

Ram pass rush best get after Ryan or he will make it a long day for us.
