You don't have to do anything here Jerry, except whine about Fisher
Have a big day!
"hate" might be a bit of an exaggeration.Carry on with the hate though!
Fisher is paying !?!Well, I hope he's paying you well for the defense.![]()

The Winners and Losers From NFL Week 4
BY RODGER SHERMAN
Loser: Jeff Fisher
The Rams offense is good. 40-point efforts against the Colts and 49ers could be scoffed at, but on Sunday the Rams beat the Cowboys on the road, 35-30, taking down a team expected to be an NFC contender. The Rams are alone in first place in the NFC West and lead the league in scoring.
Jared Goff is third in the NFL in quarterback rating—behind Tom Brady, ahead of Drew Brees. Todd Gurley is perhaps the most productive running back in the NFL, with seven touchdowns and 596 yards from scrimmage in four games.
It’s especially amazing because last year the Rams were dead last in scoring. They were held to 10 or fewer points in nine of their 16 games and scored 30 points only once. Goff looked like an immediate bust. Gurley had only six touchdowns the whole season.
This reflects most hilariously on Jeff Fisher, the phenomenally uninspiring coach who helmed the Rams from 2012 to 2016. (Actually, it is pretty inspiring that he kept NFL head-coach jobs for so long despite being Jeff Fisher.) Fisher developed a reputation for mediocrity and milquetoast offenses, but swore 2016 would be the end of “7-9 bullcrap.”
Sure enough, his team started 4-9, he got fired, and as soon as the rest of Fisher’s staff disappeared, the Rams became competent. L.A. is currently being coached by Sean McVay, a teenager who has spent most of the season convincing the team’s older players to buy him vodka.
And he’s made the team miles more effective. Every time the Rams put up points like this and win should make Fisher’s future employment seven to nine times more unlikely.
hear ya amigo!I was very supportive of Fisher until after the 3rd year.....I'm for letting him go fish in Montana and have a good life. He's not a bad guy...He just a coach who is an anachronism.
Could he ever have grown under Fisher and that staff? NO!He has grown a lot with McVay.
Not better than first time coach Chris Weinke? NO!Greg Olsen is an excellent coach to have on the staff.
Wasn't Boudreau better than Kromer? NO!Kromer is making a huge difference.
Better than Boras? NO!McVay is a excellent play caller & understands his personnel.
After Linehan, and then Spags, hiring a proven veteran coach was a smart move and Fisher's first year proved it.
Later, he just seemed to think the Rams could always "overpower" teams by predictably running the ball then displaying a timid and prehistoric passing attack on obvious passing downs. His last two years were two too many.
No one can say Fisher was not given plenty of time to create a contender.

As I look back on it, it's almost unbelievable how inept Fisher was at putting together a staff.
Even if they drafted/acquired all the players over this off season, Fisher would be at 1-3 (at best)
IMO... it's the coaching that has had the biggest impact, by far.
Yup... huge ego.Well Fisher was such a control freak as well. He had a good view on defense, but was always afraid of hiring a true offense or defensive coordinator .
He knew Greg Williams would never be able to get a HC job after bounty gate .
Yup... huge ego.
McVay clearly understands what he is lacking and has the smarts to let those coaches coach (Phillips and Fassel).
I see McVay sitting on the bench reviewing plays. Does he even talk much to Phillips and Fassel "in game"?
I'm sure he's not too sad, says his bank account!
Yeah, the second most losingest HC in NFL history... yet, a millionaire that now spends his days fishing in Montana. And fishing in Montana. Man, the life.
