Hers the thing about that Atlanta first rounder we got.

If you wanted that Manning or other QB..

If a non QB needy team is at the top of the draft you could entice them with your 2 first rounders and even a 2027 first rounder etc.. if you really had to.

Worst case scenario you could use that Atlanta first rounder on a top prospect in a better draft.

Any way you look at it the move back was awesome.

Saw a tweet yesterday by a really good football reporter who said no team trading up ever didn't get fleeced on the move up.

Have always been an advocate if trading down.Goes all the way to the Bill Walsh days.Funny Sean Mcvay grandpa was a part of that whole thing as a gm.

Belacheat did it,but stunk at drafting.My whole thing with Les Snead & the rg111 thing has ALWAYS been the trade that kept on giving.

This Rams trade is an easy example of how it could’ve kept giving.The Greg Robinson (number 2 ) pick overall.Buffaloe traded up that year for Sammy Watkins good examples of why not to trade up.

traded back from #6 to #14 for Brockers &45 .

Les Snead had Alston Jeffery
at 45,but traded to 50. Missing out on Cals Mychal Hendricks 46 & Bobby Wagner 47.
Stephen hill was 43 - Brian Quick first WR taken at #33 first pick SECOND RD. I’m sure that could’ve been traded back for as well.

I really enjoyed John Gruden & his QB’s.I went to a Notre Dame game this year as well.Would The Rams have drafted Jaxson Dart. The Giants weren’t sure.
