I'm with it. I don't think the Rams should have ever let him go.
I think he plays. They're gonna see what kind of "game shape" he's in and he'll play.

I doubt we'll ever see him on the 53, unless worst case scenarios play out

As long as we don't end up relying on him this is an ok move. He's just like Noteboom in that he gets injured almost everytime he starts. The offense seems to sputter and stall out with Henderson as the guy. It was that way the year we won the superbowl until Sony Michel showed he could get it done.

Ooh, interesting! Gaskin's a back in the mold of Kyren. Not especially quick, doesn't have Kyren's burst, but I think he's a better receiver.

Also, welcome back, Darrell! Hope you're happy Cam isn't here.
I think that is exactly the reason why they released him (Hendo). He couldnt get along with Cam, and since Cam was the bigger star, they went with him, just for him to be traded this year for pennies. lol

That would make sense if the locker room was high school. But alas this is grown up land. I doubt his opinion of Cam had fuck all to do with his release.

Locker rooms are high school in nature. Look no further than hockey or baseball. I think football isn't much different. You've got players who don't like certain other players, you've got players who are friends, players who are loners, players who are people-people. Lots of different mixes in a locker room, and sometimes, juvenile actions happen. I know McVay probably has a huge handle on it, but there's hard feelings that spill out (i.e., Ramsey, Rapp), so I could see Henderson being pissed at Akers and vice versa.

(My experience in a high school basketball team is where I'm basing my opinions. If I'm wrong, feel free to point it out.)

Honestly, a lot of places are like that. I remember as a freshman being hazed by the seniors. Locker rooms are, by default, juvenile and like high-school. You will have people you hate, people you're tight with.

The only difference is professionals get paid to act professional, but even then you're going to see a lot of juvenile actions. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me, but look no further than hockey locker rooms and baseball locker rooms; you'll see all kinds of hazing of rookies and younger players there. Usually, it's harmless, but it can get to be much worse. You need a strong coach with a good grasp on the locker room, and McVay has that.

RBs that stay healthy are rare though. We wouldn’t even be talking about Hendo if our first two weren’t injured.

Seems like teams just need a deep stable these days, and to just field an OL that can remove defenders.

This is all good... the Rams had to act because Williams and Rivers are out for a while... Hendo will end up as Williams back up. I'm happy this happened.

Apparently there may be more last minute additions. The Rams team site just announced that Sunday is “wear your cleats to the game” day.

Not a huge Hendo fan.

Pretty solid guy but it irks me how long he takes to turn up field after catching a pass.

It also irks me how much of an upright runner he is with almost no ability to get lateral and juke someone.

But we are not exactly picking from the best of the litter, so I am not terribly upset.

"Grown-up" land is full of High-School games and drama! Even our workplaces are! Professional business are actually the children sometimes! So yes, It is High School! I mean Most of Rams alone are just out of College.

Davonta Smith and AJ Brown Going at it with Siriani every week, because of thier selfish " I want the ball" Same with what I think Hendo/ Akers were complaining about. Hendo wanted to be starter because Akers refused to block, Cam wanted to start because of his selfishness and well is the better Athlete and Hendo not in game-shape. ( Might not be the reason but something of a High School reason was there) Both cried and Mcvay got tired of it, and it was easier to rid of Hendo with his contract, than it was for thier "star" RB. Hendo just didnt help his cause when Akers refused to play, and made the decision easier for Rams!

This is what I think. Rid of one Problem/ and keep the other cause now some of what instigated Akers was gone. They got a false sense of security when Akers busted out 3 100 yard games to finish the season.( Mcvay wasnt having it though) When Kyren was Drafted, the same selfishness came back for Akers, but this time Kyren was the replacment for Akers! Proved Mcvay right, and didnt help that Akers and Mcvay clearly didnt like each other at all. Traded for Pennies proved it.

We could have went after other RBs like Fornette, James Robinson ect... We only got Hendo becuse he knows the playbook and wont need time to adjust. He wasnt 100% the Problem, and hence why they brought him back after the injures to see if anything changed with his "Problem" Gone.

Oh look, King and Queen of prom Travis and Taylor are in a stadium?

Pretty boy Rich kids Mahomes, and Burrow are always the talk of everything!

Colts Go through more QBs than Swift has Exes lmao

Kendrick arrested AGAIN( guilty or not), Antonio Brown arrested AGAIN

Constant pregame fights break out.

So Yes the NFL period, is High School! Just get paid Millions for it this time though!

That’s so weird because I recall the one thing that initially struck me about Hendo was how seamlessly and instantaneously he was running upfield when catching a pass. Guess I need to look again.

I think McVay definitely believes in second chances, as long as these players now understand teamwork or whatever the problem was is worked out.
