Running game gets healthy again and Rams win 34-14.

23-20 Rams
Zeurlein with a 48 yarder to seal it.

I was going to go that way so I will change it up just a tad..

Good Guys....20
Bad Cats....17

Zuerlein from 49 yards to make us all sleep well at night.

Calling this one a loss. McVay still refuses to love to learn the run and a couple bad angles by Ogle.
24 Kitties
17 LA Rams

19-13 Rams

Not homerish on this....BOrtles is no good, and Rams have started to tamp down the opponent's run game. No turnovers, we win.....if, if and iffy, iffy foo foo

I refuse to believe that McVay will allow this team to lose to a Jags team that starts Blake Bortles, a perennial loser and a QB that has been borderline terrible his entire career. Their defense isn't even top tier like everyone has been saying, they're 14th in total D in the league and the Rams are 21st. Not much of a difference there except that the Rams have twice the offense as Jacksonville. Rams win 27-17.

Here is the key for me...and it was true vs Seattle last week, before we were derailed by the Gurley touchback fumble.

When we score a couple of TD's or more in the 1st quarter, which McVay will have plays dialed up to do that, we make them one-dimensional early. Bortles passing 40 times means turn overs to us. It seemed to me we had the Hawk defense on their collective heels, until we gave them life by turning the ball over and missing out on almost a sure TD.

We can't do that in JAX.

Feed Gurley the ball in the pass & run game. Make Gurley the checkdown option for young Jared. Jared is a franchise QB to me, but he is still learning things and seeing the young man getting blind sided makes me think he will always fumble when this happens...Probably not true, but that is the immediate fear I have when he's about to get smacked. Give Jared room to grow by relying on other weapons and Andrew Whitworth!

JAX 9
