Wish I could help you. But I live on the Canadian side. So unless you jump back over, I wouldn't have any recommendations.
 
I'm not too particular staying on the Detroit or Canadian side.

Just close to hotel and whoever wants to party after the win! (y)

There's a Hampton Inn and Suites on Huron Church Rd. Which is the road for the bridge. Easy peazy. If you decide to stay on the Canadian side. But there's about a dozen hotels on that street. Just depends on quality you expect haha.
 
Well, searching around, I found the Greektown Casino Hotel on Hotels.com. It comes with $25 off of game ticket purchase at ScoreBig.com. It's within walking distance of Ford field, has free parking with plenty of restaurants around and a casino. Good reviews but is a little pricey at $175.

Yeah that's rediculously close. I'll be walking past. I park on the Canadian border usually and take the tunnel bus over. That way we can have some beers at the game.

We all need to rock ROD hats. Does ROD have a gift shop :football:I'll be there pretty early. So we can meet up. I like to hangout by the tunnel for workouts. Sometimes you can snag some autographs. One year I got a Mardy Gilyard autograph lol. But it's usually rookies signing. Which is amazing for us this year.
