Yeah three years ago when no one had seen it or could defend it.

Harbaugh did it right though, if your QB is a RB you pound the ball from a dozen different ways. Teams weren't ready. It(the offense) was exposed in the playoffs.

Today the Ravens are finding that you can't just run the football for 60 minutes.
Nobody had seen it? What? Greg Roman has run this style of system going back to the Colin Kaepernick days. We've seen QBs like Lamar for years. Teams weren't "ready" because he's a really fucking good player. And I hope we're not questioning the worth of a QB because of a lack of playoff success (especially when he has a win). We probably shouldn't throw rocks in that glass house.

Jumping around on Sunday Ticket, and just watching the Lions is like watching the Rams circa 2007-2012 or I guess anything pre-McVay. My gawed glad those days are gone.
This actually did age well...

Watching redzone i kept telling my kid the Lions will lose this yet... Now my son just saw online that the Raven's hiked the ball on their last snap before the fg attempt, 3 seconds after the play click expired.

Brutal loss.

Stop....Lamar is the most dangerous runner behind Center this league has ever seen. Vick is in the neighborhood. Just stop.

Yet, mobile QBs aren't anything new. What makes Lamar unique is that he is also a dangerous passer.

Yep. Roman's been making great athletes who can run/pass option look great with half-field reads for a long time. Still doing it too.

I don't care if you can only make half-field reads (assuming for the sake of argument that is true). I care if you can win me football games. D.K. Metcalf has route running limitations. I still want that guy on my squad. Lamar was arguably the best offensive player in the NFL in 2019. In 2020, he was still a top 10 QB. Last week, he led the Ravens to a comeback win over the Chiefs and Mahomes. I'd love to see what McVay could do with his skills.

Fuck that. I'm more than happy with Stafford you can have the big run game threat media hype machine 2 read special QB you seem to love so much.

Maybe pick up a jersey while you're at it. Can alternate it with your Goff Lions jersey. Oh wait forgot you don't do jerseys. Whoops.

Correct. I don't do jerseys. The whole concept of wearing another dude's shirt seems weird to me. But it looks like I struck a nerve. Probably because you called a guy "shit" who's actually a very good QB and now don't want to admit you were wrong. You don't have to keep doubling down. You're wrong. It happens to us all.

You know what... I admit that "shit" was too much. You are correct.

He is a great running back who has a strong arm that can make throws when receivers have 5 yards on the closest defender. I wouldn't call him the most accurate passer when defenders are close to the receiver.

If he ever hurts his legs, he will be an average QB imho.

He is not a pocket passer that I can tell.

I watched him in the Buffalo game last year and when Buffalo contained him in the pocket, he couldn't do a thing against Buffalo.

That Lions loss was gut wrenching… I can’t recall a Tams loss like that… I’m sure we’ve had several, but I guess I’ve blocked them all out.
