Dumb question, but in what situation would you try for 2 for the win (instead of PAT to tie)?

Not a dumb question at all. Most times you don't. But when you have a shaky kicker and its quite possible you need to rely on him for a win, maybe its one of those times where you consider it. It worked out for the Titans this time. But I was actually wanting them to go for 2 because I didn't trust that kicker.

Generally that decision is by teams who have nothing to lose. Out of playoff contention. Hasn't had a good season. So the coach figures, what the heck. Got a chance to win it right here. This early in the season and staring at 0-2 with a loss, it would take a lot of balls to go for it.

Well, after a game where he turned it over last week, Lamar Jackson is not off to a good start throwing a pick six on his second pass.

He's already one of my favorite analysts. So refreshing to have a guy in the box that doesn't feel the need to oversell every good play.

He's actually the best I've heard of the current crop. I hope he stays just the way he is.

Got to see the end of the Cardinals and the Hags. Both should have lost at least the Hags choked while the Queens let the Cardinals off the hook with an easy FG miss. There are no guaranteed wins in the NFL.

Officiating around the NFL today was some of the worst I've seen in a long time.
And the best year for officiating was last season, due to no fans in the stands, where the refs called it straight with no external stimulation(pressure to react to the crowd).

Obviously the fans are part of the game but i'd like to see a study done on this phenomenon and re-train these officials.

Actually in looking at the pass play, the refs made an okay call - you could say Wilson had forward progress to the 1 yard line and got pulled backwards. It is close but I could say it was an okay call. In addition, you can't call intentional grounding because he was 1 yard past the tackle box so he could throw it away like that.
