That Cowboys ass whooping we gave catapulted us 8 spots! We're back in the top 10!

NFC West 8-9-10-14.

Yikes! Buckle up for 6 barn burners in our own division this season!
OK, so to put this in perspective, a perfectly balanced NFL would have all 8 divisions with an average ranking of 16/17.

Here is what it is today:
AFC E: 20
AFC S: 17
AFC N: 15
AFC W: 15

NFC E: 20
NFC S: 17
NFC N: 17
NFC W: 10

Obviously, this makes it that much harder to get into playoffs when you're playing tough teams, even with an extra wild card this year!

And can someone tell me when the AFC E is EVER GOING TO HAVE ANYTHING BUT CUPCAKES for the Cheatriots to feed on???

Looks like they switched it and put the 49ers ahead of us. We are at 10 Now.

But you have to admit that the Patriots get it done in the big game too, the Super Bowl.
(UNFORTUNATELY)

And as far as the tough games in the division, don't forget that iron sharpens iron, baby!

The had Steelers in wrong place in moved them to 7, which bumped everyone up

EDITOR'S NOTE: The Steelers were ranked 12th when this list was first published, but the intention was for them to be ranked No. 7. That tweak -- which moved the Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, Cowboys and Patriots down a spot from their initial ranking -- is now reflected below.
