Bengals and Colts looking shaky... I really hope this isn't indicative of how the day is gonna go because I'd like a really boring win over the 9ers... I'm already 2 gummies in (they take a very long time for gummies to hit, but my other gummies from the same place while faster, also knock me out), so I'm not really wanting a back and forth game.

outside of wanting to dominate in the playoffs, this is ONE game I'd love for the Rams to just wreck.

I'd love to run it on them 40+ times and have the ball for 40+ minutes and just grind them to dust...

Goff might have "had to go" and he and McVay "couldn't work together"....

He might not be the Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning we were hoping for but cmon, who is? He clearly doesn't suck. You can win playoff games with him. And he and McVay clearly could work together. At least until they couldn’t.

I'm happy Goff is getting some credit for playing well in Detroit. He has less to work with than just about anyone. I would absolutely love a Lions renaissance (or just "naissance", since they've never been great) in the coming years, with them able to disrupt GBs dominance.

I have no animosity of any sort for Goff.

I think the Lions situation is about right for who he is. He can do okay in a situation that simply doesn't ask too much of him. He's about dead center in the NFL in rating. He's been passable!

But he's not a guy I would try to build a playoff team around. He's been exactly what the Lions have needed from him this year and good enough for them to roll him out next season as they look for their QB of the future.

Today's Rams/9ers game is HUGE! Pins & Needles all game!
