Cardinals are pretty much dead last in most offensive categories. So this should be a game where our defense looks like its righting the ship. Their defense isn't all that good but they are ranked 5th defending the pass. They don't get many INT's so that bodes well for Goff. They're 30th in rushing yard defense. I would think teams got leads on them and ran more. They have more rushing attempts on their defense than any other team.
Bottom line, the Cards are a bad team. They don't score much which puts pressure on a defense that isn't all that good to begin with. We should not only win, we should win comfortably. Goff really needs this game to bounce back in a big way. It would go a long way to rebuilding his confidence. He's still very young and can lose confidence after a couple bad outings.

I expect after a bit of slow start the offense will start imposing its will and build a lead something like 24-6 going into the 4th quarter. I expect a win that doesn't stress us much. The following week is the one I would be more concerned with.

Coach needs to be mindful and take what the defense gives. Rams go up 13-6 at halftime averaging 5 yards a play, but dominating ball control by throwing body blows at the short part of the field.
Our running game will pick up in the second half and we stymie the AZ offense.
