To 2 teams that were in the Conference Championship games last year.

Lets not go throwing the baby out with the bathwater here.

This IS a young team that WILL get better as the season goes on.

Have a little faith....

This is a playoff team, book it.

I have faith in the players, and I get that they are young and there will be growing pains.

I had faith in the head coach the first two games, but after last night it's a bit shaken.

Yeah I haven't given up on the season by a long shot. All though the one thing we can't afford is to go through an oline catastrophe like we had last season and last night sure seemed reminiscent of that shit show. Hopefully AJ's injury is not a big deal.

One name I've been keeping an eye on is Ty Nsekhe who the Browns put on their practice squad and elevated him to active this past weekend. Wondering if they'll keep him there or not. Nsekhe can pass block decently and a hell of a lot better than Zach Thomas apparently. If AJ is out a while I wouldn't mind sniping him off Browns PS if he gets put back there. Another name is La'el Collins is apparently healthy again after tearing his ACL last season. Collins best years are behind him and was not great his last healthy year in Cincy but beggers can't be choosers during the season. Course this is all assuming Boom can't move over to LT but I wouldn't count on that as a long term fix either.

I thought Nsekhe looked the best out of everyone we trotted out there at LT last year. I was surprised they didn't retain him, at least for functional depth. Would've made a huge difference last night.

When the game ended, a pair of 1-2 teams, left the stadium....

I have never given up on the Rams.

Last night just stings more than some others for me.

Too many reasons we should have not lost the game.

Can't really say the D played well considering how Cincy started an injured QB that seriously limited the area he had to work with and our D had to cover.

I'm a little skeptical. The first two games gave me reason to think the experts are wrong about this team. Last night felt like reality hit. They looked like the team many expected them to be.

But its a long season. 14 games left. A lot of things tend to happen. Sunday will tell us more. I remember saying if we go 2-3 the first five games I'll be happy with that. We can still achieve that. I'd like to say we should win but I don't think we can say that about any game this year. All I can say is we can win.

So the team has been overperforming.

But the coaching is the hinderance? Huh?

Weird...I'd think the overperformance is a product of coaching but ok.
Touche. I over exaggerated. To be more clear, when the coach isn't hindering the team by bone headed play calls, the team over produces.

I'll "book it" when I see evidence they can finish above the remaining (6) NFC teams. Hardly a daunting task statistically, but my confidence the Rams can finish closer to 8 or 9 wins is diminishing. Instead, the money changers may have it right @6.5, we'll see.

If Jackson can come back very, very soon.. and if Kupp comes back in week 5 healthy.. the Rams passing game will be excellent.

But.. dat run game.

You are absolutely correct. My issue is with McVay shitting the bed and Stafford becoming a turn over machine

And this is the game the Bengals and their fans have been waiting for since the scheduleding was announced.

There's still something special with Monday night football even though it's been moved off of broadcast TV.

Remember that the Bengals themselves are only a couple years off of a Super Bowl appearance.

Stafford becoming a turn over machine

I swear it seems like the Rams are cursed. If Stafford throws a tipped pass, it WILL be intercepted. If KWill doesnt catch a pass, it WILL be intercepted. If we force a fumble on D, it will bounce right to the opposing Offensive player. If any big play or TD for us has ANY uncertainty, it WILL be overturned. A TD taken off the board.
The last 2 years have been maddeningly frustrating and not entirely because of a limited roster etc but because it feels like straight up bad luck and poor officiating are both determined to affect the outcomes and have been a neutral force maybe 3 seasons in the last 20 years lol....

Only 3?

I count 18 of the last 20 years

AND some people will say we scored late both times to make the score look closer, but the truth is we had the ball down by one possession in the fourth quarter of both games. These WERE close games. Both games were tied at halftime.

The football gods wouldn't allow the Bengals to drop to 0-3. I don't think the officiating was an overt problem - however there is no possible way that Atwell TD should have been overturned. There was definitely not indisputable evidence that he stepped out. The second tipped INT is one of the craziest I've ever seen in my life.

I believe that Kyren is a good receiving back, and I believe if he catches both of those passes we win at least one of those games.

I think McVay had an awful game and Stafford was off.

When you look at that confluence of events....it was just destiny IMO.

So, I'm not worried. The Seahawks look GOOD now and we destroyed them. Does that mean we will beat the Eagles, Browns, Seahawks, Niners, Saints, Packers, Ravens, Cowboys? No but I think it sure as hell means we can split those games.

Beat the Colts, Cardinals twice, Steelers, Commodes, Giants - that's 11 wins.

Drop 2 from either group, that's 9 wins which puts us in the playoff conversation. That is absolutely doable and I will not lose faith in this team, especially with Kupp coming back.
