It's the same stuff with our team. Can't play offense with this play calling and the defense is getting gashed up the middle with the run because we don't have a middle LBer that will free himself from Olinemen.
Yes JL has been bad, but Ogletree is actually the bigger problem in the run defense right now.
How is it that our vaunted defense should be so dependent on one man to ensure they can stop the run?

This is our offense again with Tavon? Get him going lateral at the line of scrimmage? I must admit, although it's preseason, I thought we wouldn't resemble what we've been. We've looked like this in just about every preseason with Fisher and it never improved until games became meaningless.

IMO it's because Fisher's training camps are sponsored by Charmin. It's the SAME THING every year. They are absolutely horrendous at tackling for the first 5-7 games because TC's are already limited and Fisher takes it even further on softness.
It's still way to early to make any judgments but this looks a lot like how our D performed last year at this time. We may be playing basic Ds but we're up against basic Os too. It's not encouraging. Deja Vu.

Because Brockers is really, really, really good at his job and might be even more difficult to replace in terms of production than anyone else on the Defense, including Donald.
I miss one pre season game and I find out Roles has body language issues and JL55 is a bum who steals his paycheck every week.
