This is our last chance. If we lose at Home to Seattle next Sunday, I personally, am rooting for losses and best possible Draft pick afterwards.

However, if we BEAT Seattle, especially if that's coupled with a Seattle loss this week against Washington (HUGE game for us) we are right in the mix and holding obviously the tie-breaker edge on them.

Why the optimism? Have you guys seen Seattle's schedule? They still have to play 3 harder games than us that we've ALREADY played. Seattle still has their Dallas game, their Philadelphia game, and an extra San Francisco game than us (2-1). These are 3 losses we've already accounted for on our ledger. So, this combined with us topping Seattle next Sunday can give us hope we can get into 2nd place in our Division and snag that last Playoff spot. Looks like Stafford is a GO for next Sunday as well.

To those who dont have interest in snagging a 7-seed- one-and-done Playoff spot I TOTALLY feel you. Just laying it out there as I checked out Seattle's remaining sked this morning.

And again, we lose Home against Seattle? It's all over.

Seattle has been playing better than they did in week one, and the Rams have been playing worse. It seems to me that the league quickly caught onto what McVay was doing offensively, that got the best of the Seahawks and Colts.

The Rams are not as successful with all of the in-breaking routes and the bunches. They have been passing to the sidelines much more. Teams started playing with an extra DB to make it four on three with the bunch concepts, and it killed what made the offense look so good early on.

I wish that Higbee was playing better or that Allen could step up and McVay would mix in more tight end usage. It would counter how defenses are playing the Rams. McVay’s unwavering belief in his offense, even if it’s not working, has always baffled me. He just continues to say that it comes down to execution. I clear and dominant deep threat would make a difference in this offense if McVay continues to stick to his system.

Been saying it for awhile now. Defenses have caught on to our tendencies and game plans. It's pretty obvious, but apparently not to mcvay and company. Until we take a different approach it's gonna be painful to watch

Definitely put-up or shut-up (for good) time next Sunday.

I get the comment about us, but Seattle just lost 37-3. Yes, it was against a quality opponent, but that's just plain bad.

I like our chances with two weeks to heal and prepare.

Not sure if that's a good thing because they'll be looking to rebound after such a shitty showing. Oh shit, never mind we're on a bye hahahaha

We put up 3 points against Green Bay. At this point we’re trying to catch up to the 1st overall pick.

We have two advantages in this game, those being McVay is very good vs Petey and the fact we are coming off a bye. But Seattle lost to us game one, has been more consistent than us, and they undoubtedly smell blood in the water. It's hard to imagine the Rams winning this game, unless Stafford's thumb improves greatly and he suddenly plays like the good Stafford. Is that likely... I'll just say I'm not feeling confident.

Seattle has a shitty rush but... Secondary playing like shit, both lines getting handled, garbage QB depth, I am hopeful but that's about it.

I have no problem rooting for the "greater good" and hoping my team loses. Did it in a lost season of 1982 that netted us Eric Dickerson. Was doing it again in 2011 but we stupidly blocked what would have been a game-winning Field Goal for Cleveland which would have netted us Andrew Luck (or the trade capital that he would have netted us)

While I can definitely get behind this sentiment, and I WILL get behind this sentiment if we lose to Seattle, I don't buy that premise because our QB1 didn't play.

One game at a time.
With play bordering sublime
We'll beat the next team

We are not yet done
Unless our quarterback's thumb
Cannot grip the seam.

Totally rational. In my mind, we lose, we know it's over, we shut guys down, get a Top 5 Draft pick. We will let this Rams game and the players themselves determine our road the rest of the way. This game is "the fork." But if Seattle loses this Sunday, or even if they dont, if we beat Seattle we remain in the hunt due to Seattle's schedule.

We've lost three games due to poor o line play and incredibly bad play calling, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. So, we might not win another game this year.
Next year's draft will either save or kill McSneads tenure going forward.
