If you watched the first half...

Not perfect... a fumble...

But dude made catches and created mismatches.

He starts week 1.

If not... he's gets more reps than Pettis.

He did play very well. His athleticism was rather shocking to me. Even on the play in the end zone. Very impressive.

As I watched Quick during the first half I became extremely excited!
Givens, Austin and Quick are going to tear it up!

I bet Pettis gets more reps. For whatever reason the coaching staff likes Pettis over Quick. Quick has hardly had any reps with the 1's this whole preseason and training camp.

I'd prefer to see Quick over Pettis though.

.

pettis looked like he was frustrated out there. didn't look happy at all.

maybe he knows the writing's on the wall.

.

Quicks progress is like molasses in wintertime but Pettis as a "vet" just hasn't seperated himself from Quick at all, besides getting starting reps.

I think Quick will unseat Pettis once gamedays start for real.
Givens and Cook will be the go to guys...while Tavon and Quick find their roles. Pettis will find himself competing with Bailey and will eventually ride the bench. IMO.

Then there's Kendricks(who knows the offense). His return to form could be critical to Pettis' success too.

Pettis is a Fraud.

If Fish has any forward thinking he cuts Pettis and holds onto one of the other young undrafted WR's.

that's a little over the top.

pettis has a role in the offense, just not on the outside.

that's how I see it too. The slot is where his lack of separation won't hurt him as much. Especially in the red zone.
