A solution on his own? No. Part of one? Potentially.
As it stands now if the Rams let him walk in FA that leaves them with Britt (over paid), Bailey, Austin and Marquez. Not a lot there.
Personally, I resign Quick and dump Britt....saving money and getting potentially a better player. Britt isn't going to develop much more as a player and may soon head in the other direction. First round WRs are notorious for starting slowly....Amari Cooper being the exception to the rule....so, while I would certainly add a WR pretty high in the draft there needs to be something remaining from what is already here.
I too would like Quick to resign. However, if I am his agent, I might advise him to sign with a team that throws the ball more regularly or one with a better QB. I believe he is a 50-60 catch a year player that still has upside and decent (but not great) hands. He can be better than Britt and Bailey (because of his size), but needs multiple balls thrown his way each game, a simple offense, and throws that maximize his ability (back shoulder throws, high throws, slants, etc.). He also seems to struggle with confidence and needs to know that he is integral to the team.

Quick probably won't get picked up by other teams..... unless they're just flat desperate.

With his size and age, he will be offered at least a "prove it" contract with several teams.

He showed what he can do last year before the injury. As long as he is fully healed, he will be playing somewhere next season. Look at it this way - if you had 2001 Holt on one side of the field and 2001 Warner at QB, Quick would have a pretty good year as a WR.
