I like Sam, I really do. I did wish he took chances more and threw the ball down the field. I know he doesn't trust his WR, but the protect the ball mentality that he has sometimes decreases the chance for a big play. The guy has as accurate of an arm as I've seen. He should be trying to throw it longer

The play calling has dictated that. I don't think it is so much Sam as it is the OC.

I believe Sam is a great QB. His lack of wanting to throw the ball deep is because his best deep threat was Brandon Gibson. His still stands tall until he hears footsteps because of the O-line issues early in his career. Look at Bradford and Brandon Lloyd tape. Bradford trusted him and they were great.

Well, you've made one thing clear. I certainly hope there isn't too much more of it popping up around here.

If he remains the starting QB, I hope he proves me wrong.
