Looking forward to seeing LB Von Miller to start playing in the Rams Defense and what better time than to start it than against the DREADED 49’s this coming Monday night!!! Is there any chance that will happen or are the Rams waiting for after their bye week to let him start playing? Really excited to see how much he can add/help the Rams Defense!!

I don’t know, thought at home on Sunday night would have been appropriate. Maybe they knew the injury would take a few weeks to be 100% and that played in to Denver paying most of the contract? What I heard from McVay on Monday sounded very non-committal.

I’m still not impressed by this trade.
We gave away a 2nd and 3rd for this guy. We’ll have to see just how much he has left.

Beating up jimmy g-string would be a good start.

I will be surprised if he plays this week. They will probably rest him till after the bye.

Everyone was saying the Rams are "all in at the poker table". But we were already all in. This move is like borrowing money from a credit card to gamble with after all our cash is already at risk. And we don't even have pocket Aces.

I think we hold him off until the Packers game. Give him the rest needed. More over no game film for the packers on how we use Von

I'm anxious to see what he can with Aaron Donald on the same line. But if he's not 100 percent, the prudent thing to do would be to wait till after the bye. The reason they acquired him was for down the stretch and the playoffs.

Should a lower ankle sprain keep a player out this long? Might it be more of the upper ankle sprain?

I mean, if we traded a 2/3 for him and he ends up playing less and less then we thought and he ends up walking.. it'll be a disaster.

If he can play, he should play. He'll have two weeks to rest after.
Exactly. The Broncos would have played him last week if he had stayed with the team (from Miller himself). Who gives crap if they get tape of how the Rams will use Miller if he plays on Monday? What he does on the football field has been on display for more than a decade, and if the September 2021 Defensive Player of the Month (Miller) is ready to go, get him out there! There should be a sense of urgency to win every game, from here on out. With AD and Floyd, Von is our ace in the hole. Keeping that ace in the hole as you lose a hand in poker because you didn't use it, is crazy to me.

I agree. The only exception I would say is that he is active and if we have the game in hand, you don't use him. He then gets another two weeks of healing and potentially finishes the season rested and fully healed.

Von Miller is a Los Angeles Ram, so if he is healthy you play him, just as if Aaron Donald is healthy you play him.

This forum was in a frenzy when we picked him up which I didn't understand.

He plays a few games and then how long before he is injured again?

Why do you say that?

Miller has been a mostly healthy player in his career.

What if. What if. What if. As Mo would say, keep your shirt on and just see what happens. Worrying does nothing. With what we have dealt with in the past from our past FO and how things have worked out so far with our current FO, I would say they get the benefit of the doubt. As everybody's favorite QB likes to say. R-E-L-A-X.
