Outside of one nice tackle behind the line of scrimmage, he was a ghost out there. I'm REALLY starting to regret that trade, tenfold if we can't resign him for a reasonable amount.
If he doesn't wow us over the last part of the schedule...I don't want him to stay. I would rather get the 3rd rounder for him when he signs a new big contract...with someone else.

Von wasn't wrong re: the front getting some good rushes. I think we're looking at more production if/when that coverage gets tweaked.

So crazy, another forum had Packer and other fans screaming bloody murder and AD was a disgusting person who needed a multiple game suspension because of this. I was called all kinds of bad person for shrugging it off saying it's hard to pretend like you wouldn't do the same if you were mugged for a full game every week. Ironic they kept using the phrase handled and manhandled on how AD was blocked. Yeah it's a penalty on the OL just about every time they try to block him but that's ok in these people eyes.

It would be nice though if the D started playing better, I'd like to see some pass rushes get home for some production too.

they'll never get home with the d-backs playing off most of the time...

recipe for consistent failure... rapp on the field, reeder in coverage, ramsey @ LB, and prevent D...

stir well and serve with TO's on the O...

go rams

I think some of it is definitely Morris not knowing when to roll it up tight. And some of it is inexperienced DBs thinking for themselves which is aka freelancing or as my old coach referred to it as teamfucking. :laugh4:

Yeah, they get another week or two from me before I start writing Von Miller off…he’s played one game.

Come on now, fans.
Agreed. Like it or not Miller was still nursing an injury and he came into a dysfunctional defense. He should be fully integrated by the Cards game. If he fails to contribute significantly by then perhaps it ain’t gonna happen but I feel like it was gonna take 4 weeks or so.

Packers OL are masters at “legal” holding. Grabbing a defender inside the chest plate but not dragging him down to the ground may not be totally legal but Packers knows it is not likely to be called so they grab and hold on effectively.

I haven't been impressed with Von yet. But, I'm sure he won't disappoint.

Miller hasn't done much since he joined the Rams. But the reason for that trade is what he can do in the post season. He'll need more time with the defense. They just have to focus on winning enough games to get to the post season. Today would be a good start.

I don't remember hearing his name called all game today. His box score was 1 TFL and 1 pass defensed.
I was expecting more as well. :helmet:

I know he's still adjusting but, I've been very underwhelmed by Von. At this point, I'd rather have the 2nd and 3rd back. I'm sure he'll heat up at some point.

The one thing I'll say here is....let's see what happens in the playoffs with Von.

Last year our defense was amazing in the regular season and fell apart against GB when it mattered most.

I'd gladly take the opposite this year
