Correction: It's not SB or bust. It's Lombardi or bust because they blew it last year, then turned around and spent $45 mil guaranteed for a guy they probably didn't need.

He'll be 34 next year coming off possibly 24 games missed out of the last 50. If they get there and don't win they'll have that proverbial hangover to deal with too. If they don't get there at all heads need to roll. Too much?

Hell we won it all last and after more injuries than could ever be imagined, some Ram fans want heads to roll.
Lol, your correction isn't a correction. I guess I have to clarify that SB or bust means they actually win the SB. Even without adding Von Miller, the Bills still needed to win the SB in my eyes as those windows only stay open for so long. Adding Von Miller adds more pressure there, but if Allen keeps balling out but falling short, he's going to eventually become the new Tony Romo aka the guy that can't win the ring no matter how talented he may be lol. I wouldn't want heads to roll but we still need changes across the board to get better but that speaks to the competitiveness of the NFL.

What irks me about Miller, was how he acted after the Bills signing and game one vs the Rams. He gloried over destroying the team that gave him his chance at glory just a few months before, and who promised during the Super Bowl parade to McVay and Donald to help run it back.
That promise wasn't binding to him as a grown ass man, but he folded to the reasoning of his Daddy about the Bills. You don't have to agree with me about the broken promise, but it's why I hope the Bills utterly fail, along with their punk assed fans.

Sorry. Why do you feel Bills fans are “punk ass”. I’ve been to several Bills home games and they are as enthused as any fanbase but the most welcoming with a hot brat and cold beer for everyone than any I’ve encountered. Great blue collar city. Great loyal fans that have been through a lot.

If he wasn't traded to the Rams and stayed in Denver, does he get the same money from Buffalo? Or even if they traded him somewhere else, like Miami or the Colts? The Broncos GM said "other teams inquired but we wanted to do right by Von".... which might indicate the other teams weren't as good as the Rams or not in as good a position to take a run at the Superbowl. We'll never know but if he went somewhere and they didn't make the postseason or were one and done, I don't know he gets that jack. It's not a stretch to say the Rams...and AD and Stafford and Kupp got him that deal. I don't wish for injuries but I do believe in karma, so maybe dicking the Rams after they made him relevant again is just that. Yeah, I'm hoping.....now that he's already injured.....he misses considerable time and is not 100% when he comes back causing the Bills to miss or lose the SB. As far as "Bills Mafia", I think it's overplayed, ad nauseum, since they lost 4 straight and never made it back. Thank god they're not a real mafia or they might put a hit out on their GM for wasting 45 mil GT if they don't win it all.

Bills Mafia, the Dogpound, the Black Hole etc are things invented to make fans happy Instead of winning the SB.

If they shut Stafford down for the rest of the year I think with all that time he gets the itch to come back. He's not 45. He's still got a few good years left. I believe he'd hate to leave those good years on the table and walk away.
Not when it comes to brain injury.

With the Bills being pumped up as guaranteed Super Bowl winners before the season began and Bills fans playing into it, just set me off in a bad way towards them.

with our luck this year he would have blown out his meniscus. go rams
With our luck he'd have blown out his meniscus and it would have shot out sideways broken Donald's leg who then fell on Gaines and crushed his spine. The watching Kroenke would have had a heart attack in shock and the team then sold to the ghost of Georgia who installs Jeff Fisher as head coach after McVay leaves for the 49ers who had picked up Josh Allen for a 4th and 5th.

It's easy to have our opinion of a group of people clouded by loud mouthed wankers. Especially in the online world because it's the obnoxious people who are the most visible.

But I'll take your first hand view over me meeting one tool who happened to support the Bills.

At the end of the day, any fan who stuck by his team after 4 consecutive SB losses deserves a fucking medal.

The Bills took the risk for the chance to win a Super Bowl. I can't blame them and as the Rams did the same with the Stafford trade. You have to wait and see if it will pay off.

I always say the Rams need more help for AD which Miller did. I was disappointed that Miller signed with the Bills leaving AD to do it mostly by himself. Miller has a dead cap hit of 40.175M in 2023 or 20.875M in 2024. The dead money goes as far as 2026. The Rams had a lot of big deals already and it just didn't make sense to match that deal with the money and longevity.

I think Miller talked himself into reasons why he went to Buffalo. Von has said it was about getting Buffalo an SB and him being the first to win three SBs with three different teams. I think it was mostly the money. Had the deal the Rams offered been close to the deal Buffalo offered he would have been a Ram.

In the end, it's a business. Very few players take much lesser guaranteed money to stay with a team when they are free agents. I didn't want to see him get hurt. It is interesting to see if the risk will be worth it for the Bills. In the end, I don't want to see Miller being the SB hero and probably will not want to see then in the SB.
