I'm thinking that the first call when shopping hunter was to his good buddy who helped him get his new head coaching position. And once von was gone, the rams interest spiked. Barring a different, unforeseen, trade, I really like hunter as our best option right now and we know they have the money to make it happen. A trade seems best especially if it's a 2023 pick. The average money for him over the next 2 years for the rams would be around 12 mil a year but if he's released then other teams will jack up the price.
I'm with you.

Injuries don't seem to be chronic. No knee issues. Have to check out the neck hernia medical records.

Rushed from both sides. I forgot how good the Vikings pass rush was.

Played as a 4-3 down lineman but, probably could drop in zone coverage sometimes.

Great asset to add to the D Line.

Snead should have been on this and ready to go if they like the fit.

I'm trying not to get overly focused on one guy. Hunter is definitely interesting.

This seems perfect to me. Get it done!

All I know is that Snead seems to make the "impossible" trades, i.e. like Ramsey. Hunter would be motivated to come to a legit SB contender. They could talk to his agent about the extension to make him affordable. He's young enough to invest in long term. He's far and away better than anyone they could get in the draft. If he hits the FA market they will be outbid just like with Von. I'd rather have Hunter than Von because you get a similarly talented proven player with a lot more tread on his tires for a long term player. I see this as another Ramsey type of opportunity.

This is a tough one for me. He's a good player but I think I'd need to have some information on the guy from the medical side as well as work ethic and locker room considerations. Is he a culture fit and all that.

Given that it makes sense but moving picks for this dude feels iffy to me. Von as an addition was extremely physical on the contain and squeezing the run on early downs on top of his rush. This guy seems like a tease in a lot of ways. And we have one of those in Lewis already.

But I don't watch the Vikes generally. I don't like their disgusting shit purple uniforms. For me they're like the Browns, the color turns me off. So if we do get him I'll go watch his games but willing to wait and see here.

Not sure. With them going to release him anyways, I assume a mid round pick or 2 could get it done.

Snead says Fuck them Picks ... and gives Minnesota our 2024 1'st, 2022 3'rd & a 2022 6'th round pick for both OG Ezra Cleveland & DE Danielle Hunter, and wait, the clincher, our Rams also get back a 2023 6'th.

His injury was his back I believe which he healed came BK was off and running again and then suffered a torn pec like sjd or weddle ...not a Gurley type injury and prior to these two non connected injuries he was excellent

Click the link to get a little insight on Hunter. He certainly seems to be a team player and a good fit. Agree the Rams have to do their DD

Rams do need another pass rusher in that DL too. So the fact he is a hand in the turf pass rusher would not cause me any real concerns.

My concern is having to depend on both DH & 3rd yr player Terrell Lewis who has missed almost all of the last two seasons too....as your new 2022 replacements to counterbalance the loss of pass rushers Von Miller & Og Okoronkwo.

I would want to add a veteran designated pass rusher, Morgan Fox, in addition to DH if possible. Having two new 2022 DL pass rushers in with DL'er Aaron Donald would be a signal to him that the Rams Org has heard him loudly. The Rams have more than enough run-stuffing DL'er to make up for the departure of SJ-D.

In addition, I would sign ex-(failed) Falcon 43 D pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr. on a short heavily incentive contract. I would place him back in that 34 D OLB'er post to run with Floyd/ Hollins/ Lewis/ Grant. I would utilize DF behind starters Floyd/Hollins as the main top reserve for both OLB posts.

If the Rams were to sign 2 of the 3 pass rushers then AD should be in a much better frame of mind.

I'm a Morgan Fox fan. I'm not sure they go back to him. Chris Garrett has much more upside. It's good they have the option for now. We don't know about T-Lew's health but, hope he can go for a full season.

Fowler
Key
Hunter
Others

The Rams need another solid pass rusher.

Between AD and Hunter we would have an All-World bodybuilding squad along the d-line
