Also, what happened to our top 5 pass rush? Its been absent for weeks now with almost nothing from Verse. Wonder if his ankle injury has been lingering or something.
I was thinking the same thing, but today it hit me…
Nobody is beating containment anymore, not even josh allen.
These young DL guys were running themselves out of plays going for the big kill and often failed to hold the edge, losing containment. Maybe they’re more disciplined now and that’s costing them sacks? I dunno, but the end result has been winning football games.

Next week will be a true test when they have to deal with that midget on zona.

The Jets defensive backs have not played well and by the second half had three backups in the game.

I think the game plan helped the Jets defense considerably. They were sitting on those short passes. A few shots down field would have loosened up the defense.
Sauce gardner didn't sit out until the 4th quarter - which at that point wasn't a lot of reason to be throwing.

They were sitting on short passes because it was tough to throw the ball down field. I'm not sure i saw a pass completed that went over 15 yards in the air all day.

Yeah it's hard to throw that cold hard ball.

I think the longest pass was to Nucua for 23 yards by which he accounted for 15 plus RAC. I could be wrong it was a long game without much passing from Stafford.

I think the rookies are running out of gas a bit... kind of normal. And Verse needs to work on counter moves. I am sure he is, but he needs to improve. You just can't try to overpower everyone.

I still think Byron Young at ILB would be sick if he can do it. Then add a another speed rusher with more length at edge. Would improve the speed of the front 7 bigtime.

Aged bad? You think the Ragles won’t be in the NFC championship game because they lost a game to a division rival?
Yes because the statement said it all goes thru Philly. I equate that as them being the #1 seed which they aren't and won't be now. Honestly, I'd rather we get revenge in Detroit as that would be the sweetest of all scenarios hands down.

The Rams were mostly throwing behind the line of scrimmage. Rodgers made some good passes. A few 15 yarders still would stop the defense from sitting on the screens and quick outs.

I predicted they’d rely on the run game. It was an obvious choice. But Stafford only rolled out once and it was a good play. It just seemed too conservative to me.

.

How satisfying was it when the Rams pass rush finally got to that old fuck.

And at the best time possible.

I was having fits all game about how much time he had to throw the ball. The Rams back end did a great job limiting the damage.

This team just finds ways to win. Gotta love it.

I can't hate Rodgers, why, he didn't quit I swear that First half and part of 3rd quarter had me sweating like WTF. He can still hold the pocket with immense time and just extend the play, just happy we got the W. The Jets are loaded on offense, their defense seemed banged up. No win is "easy".
