The offense will be fine.

The defense has me worried. Talib and Peters have been bad.

I am not sure defense is a problem. Problem is they can't run the damn ball. If they are passing all the time and scoring in 4 minutes or going three and out the defense is going to be tired.

This is the exact reason Air Raid offenses will never work in the NFL. Not that they can't score but the defense will be on the field too much.

I was thinking that the last thing we needed was drop two in a row, one to these shit heads. Low and behold, we find every way to lose the game again. I don’t even know who to put it on, definitely not on Goff.

Fuck Carol acting like he just won the Super Bowl. I would have loved to see that smug bastard’s face had that went in.

Well that one hurt but honestly 2 things stand out

1) I’ve seen all I need to from our FRANCHISE quarterback. Ice in his veins. Give him time and he’s great

2) Russell Wilson is really really good. I’m not even mad at our d, they had so many plays that would have been sacks/stops on any other qb...oh well on to the next

Sorry guys, not feeling it. 3-3 here we come. Maybe we back into a wild card berth. This has shades of 2006 all over it

I was optimistic that Allen could be an upgrade over Sullivan, as Sully was at times exposed pretty badly. So far, he has not been. I am optimistic it will change as Allen is still so green. But man oh man.... that failing to snap the ball cost us 5 years on a FG to potentially win the game. 5 more years and that kick squeezes in. Most infuriating play of the game how he just somehow fails to snap the ball.

We get to see how the team and McVay handles adversity. Only two options: give up or get better.

I wish Goff had the smarts of Wilson, I wish McVay would take pointers from Carroll. Run the ball. He got outcoached. Damn this game was huge. We just didn’t have it in us.
Well, if Carroll would have run the ball on 3rd and 2 the Rams wouldn’t have gotten the ball back.

Last year the Rams went 13-3.
There were 4 or so games that came down to the last possession.
Every 12-4 (or whatever) playoff team is just a couple of plays away from being 8-8. Most teams that are 4-12 can say the same thing.
This is the kind of game that separates those seasons. Rams won two of them versus Seattle last year.
Rams played hard.
D has issues. That is the most disappointing part to me.
Have there even been 15 incomplete passes the last two weeks.

That was the second time he did that. The entire OL false started because he didn't snap it. Infuriating. Yeah, maybe it wouldn't have made a difference. Or maybe we convert the first down, throw one more pass to get inside 40, and Greg knocks it through. Who the fuck knows. But what I do know is that Allen has no excuse on that play.

That was a bonehead move, but the team overcame that. Goff got us in position for what should have been an easy FG for us. And in general, the OL played a bit better tonight, against a decent front 7.

The defense is a problem. Goff and the offense held up their end today.
I actually like how Goff hung in there. Gurley is still a shadow of himself. We had a couple of chance to win this game. *shrugs. We arn't as good as last year, facts.
