Definitely the vikings exposed the Rams and showed they are not ready to challenge for top spot this year. Way too many hole to fill on both side of the ball, but the seed has been planted and next year our coaching staff will bring in the players to improve on what they started.. my expectations next year is nothing less of kicking the door down and take no prisoners on the way to the SB!!:yess:

Kupp’s fumble gives away points. Declining a penalty in the end zone leads to an easy touchdown. The defensive line couldn’t get pressure, and when they did, they couldn’t wrap up. Defensive backs that couldn’t defend. Robert Woods leaves on a cart.

The playoffs are far from guaranteed.

I don’t have anything else to say. Just sucks we can’t beat the Vikings. And we lost to Case Keenum. Who didn’t really do much except throw 10 yard passes. The run defense is going to be like this all year. We need to find a way to mask it.

All in all, that was a playoff atmosphere. And we failed our first test. Next week is a much tougher game. So let’s go 8-3.

Yep. Put it in the rear-view.
Lotta execution problems in this one, but that's not fatal.
Shit. Just. Happens.

The better team won today. The Vikings executed what they do best in smothering a possibly overrated Rams offense. We better hope we don’t see this team in the playoffs because they have our number.

Everyone dogging Keenum turned out to be wrong. He executes the Vikings system perfectly and had no turnovers against what was the best defense at forcing them.

Now we look ahead to the Saints and Eagles. We could very easily be 7-5 if we can’t get it together.

Kupp and Higbee had bad games.
Hatfield? W tf
McVay gets a thumbs down today as well. The queens control the ball all game and you punt in the 4th quarter? The game was over as soon as we gave the ball back. We needed yo at keast try to keepbthatvdrive alive. The queens took another 6 minutes off the clock and got the fg.
Some growing pains today for certain.
7- 3 it is. Still not bad.

I just hope Woods was shaken up at most; he was carted off near the end of the game.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKK YOU REFS.

Refs didn't fumble on the 1 yard line, allow a 60 yard TD, allow two rushing TD's, or fail to get a sack.

The Rams underachieved as a unit today. That's all there is to it.

We don't need to freak out ... just yet. (talk to me after Saints game)
But here's 3 things I didn't like today.

1. Not one touch for Tavon Austin. Yeah I know he's not a big part of the offense by design. But on TURF (fast track for guys with juke moves) you need to give him the jet sweep (or anything) at least 3 times this game. They didn't.

2. I'm sorry but Higbee cannot catch very well. People say he's still young and "getting used to the offense" but hey guess what. In pro football it's NOT the time to learn to catch a football. If he cannot make average catches by now in his career, he's likely not going to "learn to catch" better. I don't think Higbee is the answer as a pass catching tight end. Good blocker though.

3. Not quite enough screen passes or North South runs to Gurley. Seemed to quit on the power run game early.

Now let's flippin pray that Seattle loses.

Losses are gonna happen. Im not really mad that we lost, we’re still in a good position to make the playoffs.

I’m a little concerned that Woods got carted off and we’re thin at corner. Hatfield was a complete liability. Hopefully Wade gets the defense at least serviceable with the backups.

Let’s just keep our heads together fellas. This was a team loss.

Very much agreed.
That was NOT roughness towards Keenum by Donald. That was a ridiculous call.

Yep. Review what went well and what went wrong.

Move on. The 1999 team didn’t go undefeated.

It’s fun to have next week to look forward to.

I’m glad this comes now. We got out coached, out manned, and out gunned. We should be ready for them in the post season. Thing I always remember was in 2001 we beat the Pats in the regular season and they adjusted in the SB.

Think we can do the same. Time to get ready for NO at home thank god!

Frustrating day. They just left too many plays on the field offensively, and allowed our D to get tired and eventually run over. Losing 2 of our top 3 CB's certainly hurt, as did Kupp's very untimely fumble, which was a momentum swing (especially in light of a couple of missed FG's by the Vikes).

It should bring the young Rams back down to earth and make them realize they still have a ways to go. This is still a much, much better team than last year, but at the same time, it's not quite "there" yet. Responding positively to a loss like this can help them get there.

Oh, and I want to take that stupid Viking horn and shove it up their Minnesota a$$.

Yes, this. Can we retire those things once and for all? And I will never, every miss the blueberries should they never wear them again.

I just hope Woods was shaken up at most; he was carted off near the end of the game.

According to D'Marco Farr, his arm was in pain. Hope it's not broken or anything.
