We need to draft a QB yes, and park him on the depth chart. I hope they take LT first, though, this draft, and also draft a center and finish this OL rebuild this offseason.

Protections are not good enough. Finish this OL and bring in a midround or QB castoff, there is usually one or two of those available any given offseason.

There is absolutely no "money grabs" from the Rams fans.

The same issue was in Anaheim before Dead Georgia moved the team to St Screwus.

Don't blame the fans that need to turn tickets cause they can't go. Blame the fans that do not make the same effort to go as the opposing team.

This narrative has become so annoying. Much more than how many opposing fans are at the home games.

Sorry, that’s just not how it went. So many of the tix were hoarded by ticket brokers and companies using them as perks that most fans never had a real shot.

And the demand from visiting fans far outstrips local demand. Should we have home fans fighting over tix? I suppose. It’s just like vacation expensive to go. Maybe it’s a mindset issue… I’ll spend hundreds on vacation, but that seems too expensive at home? I dunno.

Also, yeah, most of the bougie assholes who sell their tix see it as the easiest flip around. The best stadium makes for an amazing road trip and since ownership valued the money over the home field advantage (they could have still made most of that money while ensuring it would be diehard fans in the seats) that’s what’s happening.

I also lament that folks sell the tix. It’s beyond unfortunate.

Yes, I’ve been and I live in FL. Once I’m moved, going back is a definite possibility depending on what house we buy. Not everyone can. It was super expensive and I only paid for one ticket. I can’t imagine the expense for a family.

Stafford didn’t get much help on that play. First of all it stupid by McVay to open up the 2H in empty like that, but they dropped their DL into coverage and Watt just made an incredible play. Stafford was pretty good for most of the day. Dropped passes killed multiple drives and McVay getting away from the run made moving the ball harder.

The Empty backfield makes no sense, let's tell the defense we're gonna pass.

Personally, we need someone in the ownership to take away McVay's ability to pick RBs because all of them are jags built for a multi back system that doesn't work.

They need to improve in their evaluation for sure. Williams is excellent but he is a change of pace body-wise. Half their probs on offense relate to different facets of the run game.

Sadly it's going to take some time to change it but not sure it ever will change because scalpers own a lot of the season tickets and the team won't take them away from them.

Which they should. They can make it a condition that further purchases require at least 50% attendance or maybe higher.

The number of whole sections with very few actual regularly attending fans is crazy

Staffords int was bad... but also the defense allowed the steelers horrible red zone offense to score a TD every time in the red zone.

But with the lack of experience and perhaps talent on the D we need to score more than 17 pts thats for sure.

It really is mind boggling some old folks on the internet think they have any more knowledge than a Super Bowl Winning Head Coach at play calling. Complaining McVay didn’t run it at all when the Rams ran it 31 times to 29 passing plays.

This ain’t Madden and McVay has forgotten more football knowledge (which is very little) than you’ll ever know in your lifetime. Chill out.

The run-pass ratio was fine today, but the 5-wide to start the 2nd half was a major league brainfart that cost us dearly. And generally, he seems to lose feel and focus at playcalling just about every game nowadays.

This doesn't mean he's a shit coach, we know he's very good. And we know he's dealing with a lot of roster churn this year, and we also know that certain execution issues (e.g., Kupp and Higbee drops) are not on him. Still, I think he can do better at playcalling than he has for most of this season. Outside of the Seattle game, I think he's had some real head-scratchers in every other game this year, and I know he can do better. He has to if this team is going to finish above .500.

But why was it a major brain fart? If Stafford didn’t throw a bad pass or it was an incompletion those that are calling it a dumb ass play wouldn’t even remember the play even happened. The empty set had nothing to do with the decision that Stafford made to throw that ball.
