All 3 phases did a losing job today.

Akhello Witherspoon was getting whipped. He's not exactly young. Morris had no adjustment for Canada. It feels bad.

There is absolutely no "money grabs" from the Rams fans.

The same issue was in Anaheim before Dead Georgia moved the team to St Screwus.

Don't blame the fans that need to turn tickets cause they can't go. Blame the fans that do not make the same effort to go as the opposing team.

This narrative has become so annoying. Much more than how many opposing fans are at the home games.

That's what's really frustrating today. We knew we would have some hiccups because of the youth on this team, but it was experienced guys like Higbee, Stafford, Kupp, etc. We can't afford our vets fucking up on a young team like this.

Don't know why everyone seems suprised at the Kicker. Dude was not even on the official roster to start and Maher was cut because he sucked at his last team's.

He was a scrub "starting" kicker we picked up because we didn't focus on a new kicker and decided to go with the cheapest one, because we were "building for 2024".

And now our cheap decision is getting costly.

Even after that Stafford int we had a chance to go up by 2 TDs. That drop by Higbee was huge because there was zero chance Maher was going to hit that FG. Gave them great field position and all the momentum.

Maher and Stafford gave them 17 points. They scored 10 off Maher's misses which cost us 7 then Stafford turns the ball over in the red zone which really is a 24 point swing. Be pissed all you want at the defense but they didn't cost us the game. That same defense gave them 64 yards in the first half. Maher makes kicks and Stafford starts protecting the ball we win this game with ease.

I see the TB rabbitt-hole coming...but they got rolled in the 4Q when it's still close. That's not on them?

The Stafford int on the first fucking play to start the half was inexcusable and gave that team life.

I never ever blame the refs but this game was bad. The non calls when the Steelers are holding our WRs. The phantom calls vs our DB’s.

But notice how our DB are 10 yards off their WR’s while their DB’s hold our WRs hips. This is where Raheem loses games.

Having said that,

Stafford and Kupp have to be better. Stafford staring down Kupp with Watt there was a back breaker. We don’t lose to the Steelers if we don’t give them a defensive turnover there.

Durant and Kendrick have to go. Massive holes in the defense.

Mahers days are numbered.

Tomlin coming off a bye.

Ref calls consistently against us.

Steeler home crowd.

Steelers knowing who Witherspoon is.

Kendrick having his head elsewhere.

Maher missing key kicks.

Stafford gifting those fucks their first TD.

Mix in bowl, cook at 450 for 60 minutes.

Overall...

This roster plays hard but they are relying on non-optimal pieces all over the field. So they have almost no room for error.

Williams is going to be an enormous loss. We have another loss coming in the next two games. Still likely we finish strong but this team is a year out.

Stafford didn’t get much help on that play. First of all it stupid by McVay to open up the 2H in empty like that, but they dropped their DL into coverage and Watt just made an incredible play. Stafford was pretty good for most of the day. Dropped passes killed multiple drives and McVay getting away from the run made moving the ball harder.

Sure those things you say are true about stafford and maher.. but the defense is definitely to blame as well.

I watched the whole game.

It's really simple. Off Maher's missed kicks which cost us 7 points the Steelers scored 10 points.

Stafford the first fucking play of the second half throws a pick to an edge rusher and they have a 7 yard drive.

Maher and Stafford just provided them a +24 point margin. They scored 17 points directly off them and cost us 7.

Nowhere did I say the defense was great go back and read again. Even with those bad drives in the 2nd half we win this game if Maher and Stafford don't cost us those points. We win the game it's not hard we win the game if not for that crap. Yes the defense was taken advantage off, the same defense that had us dominating the game in the 1st half. At least we got a good half from the defense, can't really say the same for Maher and Stafford. Stafford gave us one drive.

And lets not forget the shit show the OLine was in the first half either.

I don't know the last time I saw a game where we're won TOP, rushing yards, passing and still lost the game.

When you are running the ball well, you should not let the D off the hook by playing empty backfield. Always make them look for the run. ALWAYS. Even if you are in shot gun. Put the back next to the QB. If our run game doesn't work or you need to score a quick TD at the end of the game or half. Different story. It is stupid stupid stupid. Especially when the pass rush is what makes their D.

I think it's fair to say it was a group failure but the defense definitely Got left out to dry for 17 points.

If you rely on the refs to win the game you have larger issues. We do our business the refs don't lose us this game. Play and coach better and there's little chance the zebras can affect you.

Check my post history. I haven't watched much football in the last 3 or 4 years, but I thought I'd check a game out because it's been a while. The NFL is just a terrible product. So many commercials. Games literally take the entire day. And the officiating has been terrible for as long as I can remember. The fact that it hasn't been fixed by now tells me it's by design.
