I’m almost over it. This team is going to the playoffs and can - and in fact should - beat any other team in the league. We just can’t beat ourselves. I’d rather be the 1 with the bye and home field - but we aren’t - so we will have to wreck shit from the road. I would definitely prefer the 5 to the 6 but either way - this is my team.
I don't think that just because Humph put the edge guy on his ass, that always makes it holding. Looked to me like the edge got off balance during his inside move, and Humph just pushed the defender down with his right hand. His left hand wasn't really involved with the play.
The ref's shit show is over for that game now.

Been a huge problem. Swiss cheese when it matters most.
Happened last night, happened towards the end of the Seattle game, certainly happened in the Philly game.
DBs are pretty poor, and the pass rush has been a huge disappointment.
At the end of the day, the Special Teams cost us the game @ Philly, arguably vs SF and again @ Seattle.
The Rams have absolutely no one but themselves to blame for the seeding and the issues going on.

If the Rams don't see we need better tackle depth, and depth in the defensive trenches, after seeing DJ Humphries single handedly neuter this offense, and the run defence completely implode when Ponna Ford is out of the lineup - unclear if he is 100% since coming back, which might explain a lot - when will they?
Far too many bad games for Stafford this year. He has generally been very good. But for all the team struggles - and is indeed a team sport - we win the Carolina and Atalanta games if Stafford even just plays poorly as opposed to awful. You need better from your veteran, huge cap hit, MVP level QB.
Tutu beats his man deep late. No flag sadly. But how many times does he need to win his snap to actually see the field? His ratio of big plays/flags drawn vs. reps is remarkable.
McVay yet again getting overly aggressive. Just take the points. There is a time and a place for always going for it on 4th down. With Karty, I supported always just going for it, as I truly believe it was the higher % play. Mevis has missed 1 kick all year, and clearly the wind took it. You can't risk just leaving points on the table every game. A team with SB aspirations needs to be able to trust its kicker. Shootout? I get it. FGs won't win it. Against Atlanta with plenty of time left and need to score twice anyway? Take the points. Against Seattle, on the road, in the 1st quarter, on the game's first possession, when the engine of that team is their defence and they have consistently struggled to piece good offensive games together? Take the points. He is trending into Dan Campbell territory now...
Lots of questions about this team right now. Saving grace is the same is true of every NFC squad, but we get lots of important bodies back from injury by the playoffs, and on paper, have the best QB in the conference. No reason to count the Rams out despite poor recent form. Lots of folks scared of Philly on the road. Well, you can't avoid tough draws forever. This is the same Eagles squad that completed 1 pass (!) all 2nd half vs Buffalo, and has had several halves this year that were just as pathetic. Every team is asking equally hard questions as the Rams right now, if they are being honest with themselves.

Yeah I'd want to look at that again, too. I just glanced at the rest of the line while looking primarily at 72 to see what happened.
Pretty ticky-tack if it was on 72, though.
We have a collective group of very average to bad DBs.
Probably a bottom 3 group in the NFL. Went into the season that way too.
And I don't trust an Aubrey Pleasant group at all.

Yeah we definitely don't have a stand out CB. I know Greg Newsome will be a FA next year and we should add someone else in the draft. There's options to improve but yeah, we have what we have this year. Kendrick shouldn't be active unless we someone else is injured. Leave his ass on the practice squad. Don't care if someone else snatches him up.
I agree with everything but the Puka catch. As much as it was a phenomenal grab, it did come loose as he was coming down and he didn’t control it until he hit the ground. There was one angle that showed it pretty clearly.
But there were several missed holding calls where the Ram player was looking like WTF?
Tutu was definitely interfered with and everyone but supposedly the refs saw it.
And that holding calls on Humphries was complete bullshit. That should have been a Puka TD on another amazing catch.

Not even close to bottom 3. The stats don't support that. The soft scheme is an issue also.
