Your record is what you are. Saying we could be means not much. They don't gift wrap it for you, but if they did, then yes we'd be 16-0
No excuses losing to Atlanta and Carolina. Zero. If we could make a FG we beat Philly. If we don’t fumble at the goal line we beat the Whiners. If we don’t choke a 30-14 lead in the 4th we beat the Seahawks. Show me another team that close to 16-0 vs 11-5 ever.

He really isnt. Karty lost all confidence and could not be trusted on any kicks. Harrison Mevis is a mediocre kicker and gets shaky when at 50 yards, only hitting at that range went at Sofi. Those are not the stats of a kicker who is a force multiplier on offense, hence why McVay is opting to go for it. Especially considering that the Rams will be traveling during the entire duration of their playoff campaign.
He may not have the most confidence in the world in him but his stats are way better than Karty's and it's not even close

Are there any teams who have gone on a run after falling flat late in December? I’m not sure but it’s not looking great.

I understand several starters were out but I am preparing myself for disappointment. I don’t think I’ve been this saddened by a McVay team before. I genuinely thought this was our year we’d see us get a 2nd ring.

Obviously I could be wrong and yes I’m venting and pissed but none of this feels good. Momentum is so vitally important heading into the playoffs and we have none of it.

Let’s see what happens…
I’m with you. It would be different if we fought hard to get to 11-5 and into the playoffs. But we’ve blown a great opportunity that doesn’t come along very often - the coveted one seed.

In the end this game was rather meaningless...
wish that were so....

Not HUGE implications but...

A Falcons loss could have moved them up in draft order, instead the win moves the ATL pick down to #12, behind #11 Miami...

And of course the rams no longer control their destiny for the #5 seed, now they need some help to move up to #5...

A disappointing loss...

Only hope is to fuel more anger for the Rams playoff run.

I also think it’s less of a gut punch to the team when we turn it over on downs than when we miss a kick. Psychologically speaking.

Also the offense has been historically productive this year. We dance with the girl that brung ya.

Again they don't hand it to you. No this isn't a 16-0 team. It's an 11-5 team.
