And while the D showed some spark in the 1st half, they sucked in the 2nd half. Dolphins Scored on all of their 2nd half drives

How could we be this bad on offense tonight? So demoralizing to watch a good defensive effort wasted…

We should have won this by 10 points our defense was outstanding but they were put in shite spots the entire game and too much pressure on them.

And another thing. Mcvay's play calling SUCKS. There was a 2nd and long where he ran a RB delay and then a screen. At this point he's just autopiloting.

McVay's offense is boring as hell and hasn't been great since Gurley. I still don't know how we won the superbowl with his passing attack.......oh yes I do.....pass to Kupp 463 times a game

Front office looking really, really bad after this one.

I was worried when we signed Jackson that Avila would not be able to successfully play C. But I trusted McVay and Snead's judgement. What a mistake that was! Not only can Avila seemingly not play C, he apparently is so bad at it, that we are playing Jonah Jackson there instead after trying Avila there first, even though Jackson has never looked good at C at the NFL level and does not have a large body of work there. At least Avila played C in college. As I pointed out when we signed JJ, making NFL level signal calls is a totally different ball game, so I was concerned about Avila at C, though cautiously optimistic. We now appear to have sunk tons of cap dollars into a player that has no position on the Rams. What competent offense signs a big name offensive lineman whose natural position is already taken, with uncertain ability to juggle pieces around? It is still early. Maybe the offensive line can gel. But who cares. The season is over. I guess it will help for 2025-26...

Very questionable move to insert Avila and Jackson at the same time, with Hav already coming out due to injury, as I noted in this post. I don't know how more people were not concerned.

As bad as the o-line was, if this team was better prepared offensively, we probably win it. All those FGs.... score some TDs and this is the Rams' W, with how well that d-line played.

No idea what McVay was doing at the end kicking the FG, though the game was over at that point.

I like Kyren Williams. A lot. But his fumbles are too much. I'd like to see more of a timeshare, at least until he proves his ball security improves. Why not go 60-40 or 65-35 or 70-30, rather than relegating Corum to bench? We are going to run Williams into the ground. Not sure why. Corum looks more or less as capable.

1 flag on Miami all night is ridiculous.

Secondary still needs work.

But above all, very damning look on McVay tonight.

EDIT - too many people looking past Miami, including, I fear, also the Rams. This was always going to be a very hard match up. Our secondary struggles with big plays and their WRs can get open and downfield in a hurry. They are also playing for their lives/season. They were a hair away from beating Buffalo last week. If they had not been without Tua, there is no way that is a 2-6 roster. It was always going to be tough. McDaniel being from the Shanahan tree does not help. No surprise McVay's offense struggled. We "should" beat New England. Hopefully we get some scheduling help.

Noteboom was a hot mess.

Stafford didn’t play well either.

Redzone woes continue.

Notebooks struggles were obvious.

But Jackson isn’t without blame too.

He allowed pressure up the middle, he made bad snaps, didn’t make proper adjustments.

I feel like he was rushed back. If Rams wanted him in the lineup, they should have left Limmer at center and put Jackson at RT

I don’t think it was playcalling.. it was preparation and execution where they failed.
Playcalling was terrible. Multiple draw plays on a 2 min drill, not taking a shot on 3rd down, going for a FG than getting 7 on the previous drive. One of the worst mcvay called games, fucking complete stupidity from him tonight.

Bad move to rush back Avila and Jackson in the same game. Shitty playcalling. Seems like everybody not named Kupp was off tonight on that side of the ball. We shit the bet like Amber Heard on that side.

No blame on D. They did what they could and actually kept us in this game. We are a mirror image of what we were supposed to be at this point of the season - the D is carrying us while the offense had sucked in several games this year.

Totally agree with you. Not to make excuses but the injuries have just killed any real momentum for us. It's not an excuse, yeah there's some blame to go around. Like I don't think they should started 3 new olinemen tonight. Short week, desperate team, you're on a high they're on a low. And our oline looked out of sync tonight majorly. Lots of batted passes tonight. Made them look like they were sleep walking to a loss
