Tough loss. As much as I didn't want to admit it before the game, the playoff experience was a factor. Wish we wouldn't have went away from Tavon Austin in this game. Oddly we did the same thing against the Vikings.

Proud of the Rams season. Not happy with how tired they looked and how sloppy they were in a big game. I am happy with two three things today -

Jared Goff
Aaron Donald
Todd Gurley

McVay deserves some kudos too, but not for tonight.

Cooper shit the bed this game. The offense was pretty bad as well. Not ready for post season. It is what it is.
 
That is why you have to be objective with young players. No one really knows yet if Cooper is any good.

Time will tell.

Falcons were just too physical and ready. Rams offense looked lost. Cooper costed us 7. Just sucks that we were the better team and crapped the bed.
 
This hurt really bad. We'll be back. Jared is 23. Gurley and McVay get all the credit, but Goff has been a rock all year, and was again tongiht. Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp are dogs. Jared is 23. Don't expect Rams special teams to have that kind of game again.

Thanks to the guys for a hell of a fucking season. So many great feelings, strong wins, beautiful plays. I've never been more proud to be a Rams fan. We'll be back. Jared is 23. Let's fucking go.

It wasn't just Cooper.
You pointed out three of their biggest problems in your post.
They didn't even go to Watkins until the game was over.
Woods was Heaven AND Hell.
Too many "almost" catches like Higbee's.
The Falcons looked like an experienced playoff team while we looked a little shaky overall.

Too many mistakes by the team and the coaching staff against a team that matches up to us well. I kept saying that the Falcons were the team we needed to avoid, but the fucking Saints' chokejob screwed us over.

We got let down by a lot of guys who got us this far. Welcome to the playoffs, we're taking away Gurley, now what are you gonna do.

Only dudes who really stepped up were Woods and Donald. We need a lot of help on defense because in the playoffs you get into defensive scrums, just look at the 99 Rams vs the Bucs. Defense has to get better. Offense will as Goff grows.

Ok gonna vent a bit... Cooper you sucked. ILBs choke yourselves. Watkins cmon man, just feel like your heart wasn't in this game and am now wondering if the Rams should keep your sorry @$$ around; the bomb late was right there wtf do you want, and then the final dropped pass, yeah you were held but catch it holy F. Higbee you sorry @$$. I'm sure there were others but F it.

Great season! We are fun to watch finally. Honestly after tonight, I’m ok with letting Watkins leave. Dude has no fight. We need a guy who’s going to win jump balls or beat LBs on crossing routes. Also, we pretty much lost once Brockers went out.

Of course I’m sad the season is over. But that’s only because I’ll miss seeing the boys play. But Sean McVay has turned this franchise around and will win many superbowls with Goff.

Well, my boys lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Atlanta Falcons. Nerves we're on display and the inexperience definitely showed. I want to go on record and say how proud I am of this team. They gave me a year of joy and hope for the future that I never thought possible. This is by far the best I ever felt about a professional sports team. I know it's just a game, but I have never have been prouder to support a team in my life.

Thanks for the wonderful year.
