Can’t believe rams are 40-1. Same as the browns & bears. Almost the same as the chargers.

Dallas is favored by 2.5 on the road.
So they are saying Dallas is 5.5 points better.
We shall see....

No home field advantage this year though...
Charges won’t notice a difference in attendance.
The home field would still apply in terms of travel etc.
The crowd or weather conditions actually only presents an advantage in a few cities I think.

The Chiefs at 6/1 to win the Superbowl is free money.

Best value in the week one game lines is Seattle at Atlanta, that's where my cash will be going.

Vegas doesn’t like the Rams this year
Doesn’t consider them that good.
That’s fine.
The bookies don’t play the games.

Vegas has underestimated the Rams for years.
I hope they keep it up.

At the risk of upsetting flv, I find this disrespectful to the Rams:

Traditionally we say home field is worth 3 points (sorry flv, just oversimplifying)

Cowboys @ Rams are favored by 2.5, neutral field 5.5

Ravens vs. Browns are favored by 8.5, neutral field 5.5

Super Bowl odds for us and Browns - same

Super Bowl odds for Ravens and Cowboys - Ravens 13/2, Cowboys 15/1

So with this point spread, it seems that someone believes that the difference between the Cowboys and Rams is the same as the difference between the Ravens and Browns. I know that they're rivals and this is oversimplifying, but yet another example to me of the blatant disrespect that has been thrown the Rams way.

I think the fans/crowd noise has to have an effect on games. The Eagles for one seem to get a lot of fan support home or away. I think they will feel the effects of no crowds more than other teams.

As for the Rams vs Dallas game. The Rams got the butts kicked last year in Dallas. The spread seems about right.
