I work with a 49er fan. (this year has been so sweet) Anyway he walks up to me the other day and says, (You guys got problems. Donald wants paid or he walks.) I said that's not a problem we will just pay him. He looks at me and says, (Why would you do that!) I understand now why you are a 49er fan my friend.

Seems there's one person in this conversations between you two that's triggered and not sure you're realizing who it is. For the record if anybody made this a circus it's the media not AD nor his people but then that's what the media get paid to do. Generate clicks and talk.

For the same reason you don’t go into a car dealership and offer $40k over sticker price right off the bat. While I won’t get a Lexus for the price of a Toyota I don’t want to pay for a Mercedes to get the Lexus.
