White Jersey, Rams wore those the majority of the time because of the bright sunshine in Southern California.curious
I'm sure several here would like to see a 1960's blue and white throwback uniform
but which one
white jersey ?
blue jersey ?

Yooooo. I had this when I was a kid and completely forgot about it until your post. Awesome.View attachment 74992
My first wife bought me this framed in '78.
Still ihave it in my garage. (Reflection kinda messes it up).
(30 year old kid)
And this one?All of us born in the 60’s had that poster.
I was one of a very select few of the prototypes.Oh please! They didn't have people back then!
The white on white is a crisp clean look.Still holding out hope for these, with donning the blue and whites every time they play San Francisco, including in the land down under.

The irony is being young back then like 5 & 6 in 71 & 72 I never liked the Rams in white on white and wondered why they rarely wore the blue jerseys. Then was ecstatic with the new uniforms in 1973 and they donned the blue jerseys at home. The white on white is a crisp clean look.
Having a hard time finding something I don't like about that set. The colors, the selection, the extra curl on the horn, the number... I'd be more than ok with these.Still holding out hope for these, with donning the blue and whites every time they play San Francisco, including in the land down under.

When they first switched to the two uniforms on the left in 1973, the Home Blue jersey was matched with Blue cleats (it lasted a few seasons) ...Still holding out hope for these, with donning the blue and whites every time they play San Francisco, including in the land down under.

That year (1971) they played the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day and donned the blue jerseys. Plenty available on YouTube although not the whole game just highlights, however, the 1971 Ram highlights does showcase that game and there is this as well.Week 1 of 1971 the streak finally came to an end as New Orleans chose to wear their Whites at Home against us.
This streak I feel gave that uniform set (1964-1972) a certain kind of Mystique. A rareness to seeing the blue jersey that i find ultra cool.
Why would you even suggest this? All it showed was Dallas highlights and the Rams fucking up. You'd think we got blown out 28-0If you go to the 8:46 mark, shows some of the game

If you go to the 8:46 mark, shows some of the game, but some awesome interviews too.
I remember quite a bit from my youth, but at 5 years old then do not remember that game. The game I remember that season is when they played Washington on Monday Night football and they highlighted George Allen's return to California. That was a tough loss for an 11-year-old me.
First televised game I saw in color. Dallas returned the game-opening-kick-off for a touchdown.
Rams went 8-5-1 that year, beating the 49ers both times but the Niners won the Division with a 9-5 record; and made it to the Conference Championship before losing to a Dallas team that won the Super Bowl.
Just wanted to show the uniforms, it was a Dallas report. The Ram highlights of 1971 showcases some great plays in that game by our Rams, however, under Tommy Prothro, the Rams were always vulnerable to making mistakes that cost them games. Why would you even suggest this? I'm thinking I would have posted that instead of a bunch of clips of Dallas looking like they curb stomped us.The Ram highlights of 1971 showcases some great plays in that game by our Rams,
