Damn! I was hoping that we would trade Kupp for those picks. ( there's no color blue enough for this post!) LOL

I think that KC's 2 First rounders this year are 29 & thirty, so for all intents and purposes, they are second rounders. Agree that KC Takes a step back.

DeAndre Hopkins went for a 2nd. Randy Moss went for a 4th. Amari Cooper for a 5th. Robert Woods for a 6th.

I get Cheetah is amazing no doubt but 5 picks for him including a 1st/2nd/two 4ths is absolutely insane. What a trade for the Chiefs. I honestly can't believe they got that haul.

I agree. It is weird that every team in the AFC West made improvements and the Chiefs seem to be taking a step back (IMO).
I’m loving it.

However now the Chiefs can get his replacement in round 1 and an upgrade on the Oline.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Reid picks two Olinemen in round 1. He drove Eagles fans crazy for years because he kept picking Oline in round 1 most years

You've got to be kidding here. Miami gives up 5 picks for a WR and all we got for Robert Woods was one crummy 6th rounder.
I gotta believe that Miami grossly overpaid for this guy.
Thots?

I can see the Fins doing it. Memories of the Suh deal.... and Haynesworth?? I get it, they really really need to get more Fins jerseys in the seats - almost everytime I see highlights of them, their stadium is a patchwork of jerseys from around the country.
I really think though that Hill has a lot to do with the Chiefs' recent SB runs. He's indefensible at times on the field; the fact that he's likewise indefensible off the field is what has held him back from more overall success. I'm curious to see how much he helps Tua get more success. But, with that much guaranteed $$, who cares about them endorsements??
Chiefs get more picks, and just signed JuJu. But, missing Tyreek's speed, hands, COD, etc. will hurt them. Sometimes, PM was just chucking it downfield for TH, knowing somehow he'd come down with it. But that also made them 1-dimensional. Their run game needs serious help. The picks + having cap room to sign F/A guards will help them get there. They can package those 2 1st round picks to move up to get a falling top-rated guard or tackle. Paired w/ Creed, their run game should get much better.

Yea they got taken to the cleaners no doubt. McDaniel's inexperience came to light here IMO combined with the league recognizing the Rams model has legit validity. As great as Tyreek is, no way they should've given up that much.

Super team argument is so stupid. All teams operate under the same cap. Makes no sense not even like there is a luxury tax in place. It's who you choose to pay and how much but inevitably everyone has to be at the same cap figure. It's such a dumb comment. Lazy narritive.
