I was questioning it just like I questioned his production and hands every season until this one. So yeah. Sure feels good to be wrong. (y)

Oh and how the F is that the best TE season ever for this team? Holohan never put up more than that? Wow.

Not only have we been cursed with the position, but we've also been killed by it on defense. Seems like those days are mostly behind us.

Previous high for yards was Jared Cook 671. Holohan's best was '88 with 640 (he did have 734 for SD).

Not just an excellent receiving season, he is a very nice blocking TE too. A guy who can be left in and the defense doesn't know if he's there to block or to be a threat down the middle of the field. It took him a few years to be an excellent all around TE, but he is there now.

Probably my favorite part about Higbee. He’s come along way!

That contract extension that I was doubting prior to the season is looking like a discount right about now. Great job by the FO once again.

You see Higbee's athleticism now. He doesn't hesitate and now he's getting over his concentration drops. I love those TE screens off the ghost motion. That play will always be there with the cast the Rams have. Now it's up to Sean to get creative and maximize Everett next year. I'd use Everett as a hybrid H back/TE. You could have him run the jet sweeps, he's had success doing it. TE's are the key to a well rounded offense. Need 1 more TE that is an extra OL. Some 6'5 260 pounder that is a wall.

And this is mostly from half a season. Imagine what his stats would be if he was the main TE the entire season.

I couldn't be happier to see Higbee's emergence into a complete TE this season. Going forward, his presence will cause a lot of additional problems for defenses that they didn't previously face.

I'm hoping Everett, seeing Higs emerge like he did, will be motivated to up his own game. If we had two TE's who could be good at both blocking and receiving, imagine what it could do for this offense, especially with the weapons we already have.

Maybe we all need to question all of our pass catchers salaries...

Remember when we overpaid for Woods? Now Higs?

I’ll go first.

George Kittle is my biatch! ~ HIGBEAST

SF is gonna be in cap hell in a bit... Kittle is gonna wanna be paid like a WR, Deebo is gonna wanna be paid as well as Bosa and a few others on D. Their window is a year, two at the most and then they are gonna have to make some of those decisions we're making this off-season.

Who’s closest to getting a new contract? Little or Bosa?

I’ve always known hugs had this type of play for him .. even when people were calling for Everett to start

I wonder what his madden ratting is now ;)
