90% of this board is not happy with the OLine depth and you're mad that they agree?
Don't know the names is probably the problem. The guy from the Lions has been in the league a little bit.
Maybe nothing more than they aren't sure how long till Donnal is really ready.
Or maybe they are replacing someone.

Lions fans were high on Lucas not too long ago. He's a massive dude (6'9" 330). Both of these guys are.

no harm in seeing if there's better guys out there, McVay seems keen on getting the right 53 for the team

Nothing wrong with kicking the tires and I understand that some of you millennials might not understand that adage, but I'm confident you can google it.

Yeah.
6' 9" is a lot of body to move quickly.
Size for size sake can be an issue with athleticism....see Havenstein.
Will be interesting to see if either guy sticks.
Lucas has been in the league, that should be a plus I would assume.

Plus who really knows the health of Andrew Donall ? This Aaron Neary dude maybe a guy they liked on paper ?

Williams is a guy I question on the right side ?? He has been ok at LT.Has improved a lot & good upside.

The Kromers are solid teachers & evaluators. First year with The Rams to build depth.
I think guard play might be good.

Jamon Brown & Aaron Donnal are more guard types to me ?

I was wondering if Poutasi would get a look. Never heard of Lucas
Couple years ago...all we did was look at future linemen....late rounders....

Lucas was the best tackle at Kansas State. They had a pretty decent running game...I was on some board and asked who was there best lineman? And the replies I got were about Lucas....He looked ok....and....AND....never moved as slowly as another 6'8 guy.....I didn't like his bend at the time...but from what I've seen he appears to be decent.

Poutousi....is from....wait for it.......UTAH.....and was a tackle there. I thought, again...a lil stiff but not bad mover....again came from a good running program. He actually was a decent player in the pros as well....again...I think both of these dudes could play guard and RIGHT Tackle...

I like it....

Woulda liked Alex Boone more

And of course a certain...uh....player...that uh....wore #73

Both of the above WWC OL'ers appear to be Right Tackle types to me indicating there may be an issue currently right now in the RT depth area. IF true this would point in the direction of Andrew Donnal. Guess we will find out here shortly when the Practice Report will include any injury is released. We will see if Andrew Donnal is listed with that injured knee. If there was a need @ the OG post Kromer could utilize Blythe or they could resign Cody Wichmann.

One thing I know is our current back up @ LT Darrell Williams is not very good on the right side.....

3k over at TST has an "Injury Report" for Rams-Colts, but doesn't have a link to where he got it. Rams have no one listed.

Wouldn't surprise me if 3k made it up himself.
