I gotta be honest I still don’t understand why we bothered drafting him. Like he was clearly very fast and could burn defenses over the top. And he showed that multiple times and it felt like almost all of his catches were deep. But for whatever reason, McVay just didn’t use him and it’s one of the most puzzling draft picks ever.

I'm sure if we thought about it he's not one of the worst. Not in the top 5 even. Off the top of my head Isaiah Pead was far worse. So was Brian Quick, Lance Kendricks, maybe Lamarcus Joyner. This is only going back to 2010. Atwell was good at times.
