Not saying Mason did anything bad in college but if he did you probably weren't going to hear about it. Auburn has a reputation for sweeping stuff under the rug. They also have a knack for taking in players that get kicked out of other schools. Cam Newton, Nick Marshall, Tray Matthews, etc. The list goes on.

Either way, still coming out of no where. The dude better take care of this, b/c his life is gonna be hell if he doesn't. No team, no offers, just potential time in jail just b/c you failed to show up in court?

An arrest warrant has been issued for L.A. Rams running back Tre Mason -- after the 22-year-old blew off a date with the judge in his reckless driving case ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A rep for the Broward County Courts confirms ... Mason was due to appear in court on Monday to be arraigned for his March 5th arrest -- when he was popped for weed possession, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

The incident made national headlines -- with cops saying they were forced to use a taser take him into custody.

Now, the judge has issued a warrant for his arrest -- and when he is taken into custody, his bond will be set at $1,500 ... court officials tell us.

We reached out to Mason's agent for comment -- so far, no word back

It's the blonde dreads I tell you

haha. reminds me of some kid i met. was building some townhouses and one of the subcontractors has this kid as an apprentice. hard worker, never said boo. a couple of weeks later he came in and he had cut all his hair down to a #2 and dyed it all blonde. i looked at the subby and we both just shook our heads a little in a what do you do kind of way. we both knew this kid wasn't gonna last long. anyway the subby came back a couple of weeks later with no apprentice. i asked him what happened and he said one day he came to pick him up in the morning and he wasn't there. he called him in the afternoon and the kid told him he wasn't interested in working anymore. he had got into the club scene and didn't want to wake up so early anymore.

Now he can do his best Simon Phoenix impression. I'm over him being any kind of significant factor for the team. I wouldn't blink if they cut him tonight. He's small and he too has ball security issues. Not a lot of positives to find in Tre's future with the Rams at the moment.
