He has really impressed me over the last two weeks.
Minus the mini heart attack we all suffered on that fumble, this kid is progressing nicely and shows good burst with nice vision. Against a tough Seattle defense that had only given up two rushing TD's, 3.1 yards a carry and allowed only one runner to top 60 yards this year, he performed very well indeed.
We all know about his Auburn pass blocking skills (I'm looking' at you too Big Greg
), which was too be expected considering his college background, but his upside as a RB is higher than any on the roster.
The young man turned 21 just a few months ago! The future is bright for Mason and our running game. Look forward to seeing him grow over the rest of the year.
